We have been to a lot of events at Hooton lodge. And we have really enjoyed it. One of our favorite places until this weekend. The new drinks tokens did not work for us as they are not value for money. Previously paying at the bar the drinks were cheaper. Now with the tokens, you are actually paying more per drink.

We arrived to very friendly and helpful staff , and experienced this level of service throughout the weekend. Site was clean , and mostly flat ( i have mobility issues, so this helped ), as we're the toilets and showers . Onside bar and food stations , tho only tried pizza which is handmade perfection. Enjoyed the onsite evening entertainment, we sat outside , tho there is a splendid marquee, if the weather isn't playing. This site is also great for families as it is a quiet site after 10pm , and is set in a tranquil setting, 10/10 We were camping for the weekend with friends.

Stayed here camping twice so far and looking forward to my third next weekend for Soul & Ska. Last weekend was Steel City cruisers. Lovely clean site especially the toilets. All staff friendly and polite. Sarah was our favourite. Always there to help and answer any questions we had. Helped us book a table for our next weekend. Great bar and prices for both food and drink especially when happy hour is on lol. As I said before, looking forward to Soul & Ska. Can’t recommend Hooton Lodge enough.

Went to Hooton on Saturday camping with my family for my daughters birthday. It was absolutely brilliant. My granddaughter loved the bouncy castle while we sat having a drink. We then went in to play bingo and play your cards right with Nat. It was the best laugh I've had in a long time. Nat you were brilliant and made our night. Will definitely be back again.

Primarily a camping venue offering spaces for tents, caravan's, motorhomes and bespoke on site camping accomodation in the form of bell tents. They also offer on camp entertainment from bingo to themed party nights, weekend festivals and weddings. Facilities are plentiful, many on site portaloos and stocked bars, food stalls etc. A very enjoyable atmosphere in a well maintained outdoor space and indoor marquee tent. Always enjoy my time here.

Visited for the fireworks show, and on site it seemed well run with a lot of attractions as well. But the traffic chaos getting in and leaving put a dampner on it. Two large field carparls all trying to leave through the same exit on a wet field led to chaotic scenes. Wish they could have added a second exit somewhere

Went to see the air amberlance land which unfortunately was called to duty but we was still not disappointed. They had bouncer Castles, trampolines, food and a bar to keep us entertained. All the staff was helpful and kind. They hold some really good events here and although we haven't yet camped here we are looking forward to next summer.

I attended an event here recently. As a campsite I expect this venue would be good. It has fairground rides and food and drink trailers. What I didn't like was their was a wedding at the same time, this meant our party started late as we couldn't use the microphone as the speakers were all round the site and it would have disturbed the wedding. We were also moved from one end of the marquee to the other as another party were using the other end. Not sure how that was going to work, however they didn't arrive until we'd moved outside. All in all a decent venue plenty going on and the staff were very nice.

Drinks expensive at £4 a pint. Great atmosphere and lively, would return again but just for 1 night. Needs some proper toilet blocks. Didn't enjoy using porter loos in the middle of the night with no lights. Grounds well kept and beautifully situated next to the river
