   I’ve been coming to COBAN Barbers for years and have always trusted any of the barbers to give a good cut. Unfortunately, over the last couple of months there have been several new barbers, and the quality has really dropped. I decided to give one of the new guys a chance and it was a big mistake. He didn’t listen to what I was asking for at all and completely butchered my hair. The whole experience felt rushed and impersonal very much in-and-out which is a stark contrast to the barbers who’ve been here for years and always take their time and make it feel personal. It’s a real shame because this place built a great reputation, but the recent hires are starting to damage it. I really hope the owners address this because the barbershop used to be excellent.

   I've Lived in Swanley for 7 years and never been here before. Chanced a walk in and was seated straight away. Really happy with the cut and all round service. My new favourite barbers! Reasonable prices too. Recommended.

   I’ve been a regular at the Lewisham shop for years and when I moved to Swanley, I decided to try their sister shop yesterday for the first time. Unfortunately, my experience was terrible. I think I ended up with a trainee - or possibly the lad who usually sweeps up hair - because he was set up away from the other barbers and completely butchered my hair. I asked for a mid fade and just a trim to clean up the dead ends in my curls. Instead, my curls are gone and my hair is far shorter than I wanted - completely shapeless. I realized within seconds of him starting with the scissors that this was going to be a disaster. I even had a mild panic attack in the chair, which I managed to suppress! I couldn’t get out of there fast enough and even skipped the wash and hot towel. I will never return to the Swanley shop and will stick with the Lewisham location, even though it’s a bit of a trek, because I trust my old, regular barber there. Disappointing to say the least!

   First time here, great experience! Forgot to take the water bottle offered to me afterwards, oops lol. Besides that, haircut was great and price was reasonable. Was surprised the standard cut included a hair wash after and also a warm towel after, that was lovely service. One thing that would be nice if there's some loyalty card where you collect stamps each visit as an extra incentive, that would be nice :)

   First time going to Cobans and upon initial inspection i though the prices were a bit steep. However Ismail gave me the duttiest fade I have ever received in my life so big up Ismail, defo worth the extra money

   Leo cut my sons hair today. He's 1 and hates having his hair cut, I was so nervous to take him because I knew he would cry. I walked out once before getting it cut beacsue I was so worried about his reaction. I went back and honestly I was put at ease so much, Leo made me feel like it was so normal for him to be crying, he put blippi on the tele and was encouraging my son throughout the cut. Brilliant service and I will definitely be returning. Thanks so much!

   Bunch of amateurs. Went in and the two barbers there couldn't decide who would do the hair cut (because neither seemed interested to provide the service). Then one of them reluctantly asked me to sit. He spent 5 min asking what I wanted. But still had no clue. He was hesitant to start trimming. I could see a confrontation coming, so left without the cut. Never going there again.
