   Went in this morning to ask if they could squeeze in my son for a short back and sides and was rudely turned away saying he couldn’t do it in two minutes, absolutely fair enough if one doesn’t have time one doesn’t have time but the tone in which this information was carried was totally unnecessary. Won’t be returning

   Having been to the Barbershop in Epping now twice (after seeking a bit of a change from my usual barber), my only regret is not finding them sooner! Looks can be deceptive and there is no grandiose decor on show here, nor any hot towels, neck massages etc, just great value, service and cuts (not to mention free beer and Sky sports if that is your thing). Sean is more stylist than barber (which is rarer than you think) and he's the first barber I've been to in a very long time that has already proved himself more than capable of both understanding and translating my garbled vision of the hairstyle I want, into living reality. A superb cut and a great, no gimmicks, barbershop - best in the area by a country mile.

   Excellent and friendly service at a very good price. Got an appointment even on a very short notice, and the beard trim came out exactly as I asked. Beats the one I got in Soho a hundred times over, and I didn't have to sell my kidney!
