The haircut itself was outstanding—precise, clean, and perfectly executed. He displayed remarkable skill and artistry, making sure every detail was perfect. The tools were clean, the techniques were up-to-date, and the entire experience felt personalized and top-notch. Additionally, the conversation was engaging but never forced, making the entire session enjoyable. It’s clear that Captain is passionate about his craft and genuinely cares about his clients. I left the shop feeling refreshed and confident :)

    My son and I had haircuts today. I told the barber to cut my sons hair like the demo photographs displayed in the shop. Before starting, I realized he was inexperienced; he mentioned that if he moved while cutting, he might make a mistake. I reassured him that he had done haircuts before. After the haircuts, I noticed he hadn’t defined any lines. When I asked why he hadn’t put in a hairline, he replied that I had no hairline to work with. I showed him old photographs from the same place where we had previously gotten haircuts, and he said he would do it if I wanted, but I declined. To make matters worse, he tried to charge me extra for shaving. He initially quoted £9 before the shave but then attempted to charge me £14. The barber was grey-haired and very rude, and he didn’t seem to know his job well. Fortunately, the other barber in the shop was very nice and did my shave for the original price of £9. If anyone plans to visit that barber shop, I recommend avoiding the grey-haired barber for better service.

    I was told “sorry we don’t do Afro hair” as soon as I walked in. I didn’t even need them to top my hair I was looking for a beard trim. Such a weird vibe. And such an odd way to speak to a customer in 2024. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
