   We stayed at The Avenue while visiting Chatsworth House. Our large twin room was very comfortable. Very nice hospitality tray, fabulous large shower, and comfortable beds. You order breakfast the night before and it was very good quality ingredients. Sarah is a lovely friendly host and the recommendations sent on once booked were great as we booked restaurants ahead of our visit. Highly recommend The Avenue for your Bakewell stay.

   We stayed in Avenue House. You park your car in the small car park spaces at the side of the house. As soon as you turn into the road. Avenue House is the first one on your right. The house frontage is on Matlock Street. We stayed in room 6 .Up in the loft. The most comfortable bed i have ever slept in. In the morning we came down for breakfast. Very nice selection of breakfast cereals. You can also have a full English. Tea, coffee and fruit juices. We only stayed one night. But I should have booked for 2. Never mind. Until the next time. Enjoy x

   Can't praise this place enough. It's an Airbnb-like hotel that feels like home. You just feel welcomed and the room I got was so cozy I didn't want to leave it. Bakewell is magical and this place fits just in the magic. Can't wait to go back, hoping Sarah would be at the entrance and Allison at breakfast. Cheerful people, wonderful stay.

   Very clean room/b&b with a nice freshky cooked breakfast. The b&b is only a 5 minute walk to the city centre, and the free on-site parking is a plus. Staff was very friendly, and the rooms also have a nice selection of tea/coffee/snacks to choose from.

   My husband and I recently stayed here and we could not fault it in any way. The staff were amazing, friendly and couldn't do enough for us, both on check in and during our evening and morning meals. The atmosphere in the pub each night was brilliantly warm and welcoming and the food was delicious, enough to drive back just for a meal! The room was beautiful with amazing views. We will definitely be coming back and will certainly be recommending them to all our friends and family.
