Perfect night away, very friendly welcome. Rooms were really nice and clean and the building itself self is really nice! Only a few minutes walk into the village. There is a book with recommendations with place to eat and visit which was really helpful! We will definitely be returning when back in Bakewell. Charlie and Hannah fields.

I couldn’t write a single negative comment even if I tried. The best thing about this place is the owner, Georgina- from check-in to check-out, she made everything such a pleasant experience. Bagshaw itself is quiet, peaceful, and full of history. We stayed in the Chatsworth Suite penthouse, which was spacious, spotless, and really lovely. Breakfast was delivered at 9am (a nice, classic English breakfast). We’ll definitely be back in the summer. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay xxx

My partner, our little one, and I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at Bagshaw Hall in Bakewell, and we truly had a good time. Bakewell itself is a treat to explore, but the accommodation at Bagshaw Hall was the perfect complement to our trip. From the moment we arrived, it was easy to locate, which is always a plus when traveling with a family. Our room was incredibly comfortable—the bed was especially comfy, which made for a great night's sleep after long days of exploring the Peak District. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We also thoroughly enjoyed the start to our day, as the breakfast was very nice. Overall, the entire experience was excellent. We highly recommend Bagshaw Hall to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and well-located place to stay in Bakewell. We will definitely be back for a return visit!

We had a lovely stay here! The location is superb- a short walk into Bakewell town and a short drive (most likely bus too) to Chatsworth. The family room has a cool little balcony with lovely views and the staff we met were lovely. Highly recommend and will certainly be back!

Had a wonderful stay in the David Attenborough suite. Very fresh and clean. Great location for Bakewell which has loads of great places to eat. I would warn anyone not great with hills it is at the top on a hill, but this makes for great views from your room. Having a kitchenette with fridge was also a great advantage. Will definitely be staying here again.

Overpriced for what it is Had a room in the attic, and it certainly wasn't luxury or boutique. No breakfast was provided in the morning despite pre ordering. I was told to go into town if I wanted breakfast as the kitchen was now closed....charming. Had to crouch in the shower, which had insufficient head room for a six foot person. Ensuite was open plan at the top of the entrance staircase. The jacuzzi bath was out of action due to pipes corroding during lockdown. How about getting it fixed? Lockdown finished a good time back. I was asked what time I would be arriving to check-in, which I provided and upon arrival then had to ring someone to check me in, very poor for such an expensive experience. Don't waste your money on this place.

Booked the chatsworth penthouse for valentines weekend and it was stunning. Newly refurbished with everything you could need. Room was beautiful as were views and the lady who greeted us was friendly and helpful. We booked in at the Woodyard for dinner and got 10% discount with our key. Perfect valentines weekend thank you!

Beautiful old, hall with comfortable guest rooms. The house is amazing and lovely to wonder around. The only reason I marked down for service is you have to ring them to check in. Nothing wrong with that but it was a little inconvenient. Overall, I would highly recommend and would return.

Bagshaw hall is a little slice of heaven. The place is nestled in a higgeldy piggeldy set of streets at the top of Bakewell. The suites are fantastic providing you with everything you need for a perfect get away. The gardens majestically overlook Bakewell. Only 5 minutes walk from the town the accommodation is top notch, the staff are lovely and the breakfast divine.
