   Came in today with my toddler. Met Brad who was just the nicest guy. So professional, really kind and friendly, super helpful and patient with my son and gave him the best haircut he’s ever had. Cannot be more pleased. I heard this place was great and I was not disappointed. Thanks Brad and team!

   Writing of over 20 years' experience at the Brentwood branch - if you want a short, snappy, contemporary hairdo, basically one of a thousand variations on the theme of short back and sides and a bit off the top, there's no better place in town to go to. They're a great bunch of guys; slick, professional, attentive, friendly, and very skilled at what they do. That's what 99.99999% of their customers want, that's what they deliver in spades, and they kept me happy in that genre for ages. If, on the other hand, as I did recently, you want something a bit different, a bit left field, a bit artistic, something outside their stock-in-trade, then they're best avoided. They lack creativity and imagination, they won't work with you to visualise what's outside their mainstream, they want you in that chair and out of it as quickly as possible so's they can do the next guy. If you're after a different approach, then find a more niche stylists instead.

   Great looking barber shop and all the stylists are well dressed, however I felt it was expensive for the quality of cut I received. It didn't really feel it was cut properly neither it grew into a desidered shape. My best haircut yet in Brentwood is from Phil at Barber shop in kings road for almost half the price!! Will not rush back to Mitchell's!! Sorry I feel some of your stylists especially the really young chaps deserve more training if you are going to charge £22 without a wash. Will not go back
