Love this nail salon. I don’t normally have my nails done but I’ve discovered BIAB nails here, which are amazing so had them done twice already. Super friendly, relaxed staff and they adapted to whatever you want. Very happy and highly recommend
Following a shellac manicure on the 18th July I got an infected finger which required antibiotics and a hospital visit to remove the infection and IV antibiotics. I have been here before and had no issues but am now very wary especially given the other review of an infection.
I did shellac manicure last Thursday and on Friday woke up with a massive infection on my thumb. They don’t clean or disinfect their tools be careful people it’s very dangerous. I am on antibiotics now. Will be reporting them to the council and Trading Standards.
I’ve used them about 6 times and at least half these times there is a massive issue with delay in being seen. I booked an appointment, turned up on time and was dismayed to find all nail counters in use and then 6 other women sat around on sofas waiting to be seen. Turns out 3 we’re walk in’s the salon stupidly said they’d accommodate, despite having 3 of us already waiting to be seen, having actually bothered to book in advance and turn up. After waiting 40 minutes 2 of us left. It’s a rubbish way to do business- you turn off regular, loyal, repeat customers who actually help you by booking and turning up and then stupidly agree to accept walk ins at a busy time of day with no free counters. Just WHY??? I drove 20 minutes each way to make this using my lunch hour from work so you cost me precious time, petrol and money. Sort it out!
I have been to many different nail salons and always been disappointed but I was really happy I came to Vanessa nails. I am now a regular here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I normally get a pedicure with regular polish and shellac manicure. Both are done really well very pleased with results. The shellac is removed properly without too much drilling. The salon is also very clean spacious and comfortable. Also you don’t feel like they are talking about you which I have found in other salons.
I went to Vanessa's Nails for the first time today. I walked in for a pedicure without a booking and they had plenty of customers in but were still able to see me straight away, the staff were very friendly and professional and I'm happy with my pedicure. They had plenty of colour options available to choose from and the price for a shellac (gel) pedicure was £35. Highly recommend!
I had my nails painted. I was surprised at the prices because they were very cheap only £7! They had very good rules for Coronavirus you have to wear a mask unless except and then wash your hands on arrival they also clean and Santos's there stations after you have been there. I had a very friendly woman and I'm very indecisive but she was very patient and friendly she took great care with my nails even though it was only £7! Would definitely recommend going there they are professional and cheap and lasts long!
I now use this salon regularly and always find all the staff there very friendly and helpful. If I go at a time when they are not too busy I am always offered refreshments. Their services are great - their pedicures are the best I have had anywhere. Their gel manicures also last longer than the promised two weeks. The salon is also very spacious and comfortable.
