   This is where I have many good memories. Rooms and service are fantastic. Sarah is a great host and the breakfast is a REAL English breakfast REAL one!!!! The standards are so high here. This place is a good example for some other bisiness. Hope it remains the same for many many more years and we come back every year.

   My only regret is that I cannot rate thus any higher than 5 stars. Breakfast is excellent, the host (Sarah) is dedicated and very welcoming, and the location is perfect. Need a weekend away in the Peak District? Look no further.

   We had a great stay here. The rooms are very comfortable with everything you need for a short stay. Close to the pub, and easy walking distance to the Chatsworth farm shop. The breakfasts are very generous (although we did feel a little guilty for wasting food) - bear that in mind when ordering. The host is welcoming, and the pre-visit pack is extremely insightful.

   The Blue Room here is a lovely large room, with biscuits and chocolate on arrival, plus the usual expected items. An excellent restaurant in the Devonshire Arms is less then 100m away, serving quality food with excellent service as a bonus. The breakfasts at Holly Cottage are huge and crafted with local products. There is side of the road parking in the village depending on the time of day. Chatsworth farm shop and restaurant is a short walk away. Today we are off on a 6 mile round walk, map provided my our hosts. This takes in local places on interest. We need to walk all the lovely food we have eaten off.

   Great location and ideal for a getaway. So close to Chatsworth House, so we made full use of the pub & farm shop also situated in Pilsley which boasts veggies from the estate. Breakfast was fantastic - filled out a form the night before with exactly what you liked. I had fresh fruit, which was all fresh! And my partner opted for the full fry up, and cleared the plate every time. Well-adjusted to the COVID-19 safety precautions as well, plenty of sanitiser available and everything was organized so there was minimal contact with other guests.
