   Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. I booked an appointment for a gel polish pedicure and manicure. I was surprised by the high price, but decided to attend the appointment anyway. When I arrived, I asked a simple and reasonable question: whether my feet would be soaked in water as part of the pedicure. Instead of a clear answer, the staff member responded in a dismissive and patronising manner, implying that I should “learn” how a pedicure is done and that she would decide how to proceed. The way this was communicated was extremely poor and unprofessional. This meant I was expected to pay £45 for a dry pedicure, which was not what I had booked or expected. I therefore decided to leave. Unfortunately, this is not my first negative experience at this salon. About three years ago, during a manicure at the same place, a staff member started cutting my cuticles with scissors. When I questioned this, I was told that this was how it was done in her country. Based on my personal experience, the communication and professionalism at this salon fall well below acceptable standards. I am sharing this so other customers can make an informed decision.

   This is the best place for shellac manicures and pedicures!! I would never go anywhere else now, every time I am SO happy and get lots of compliments on my nails!! You get a very high standard of service here, and my nails always look so beautiful. They are also amazing at French tips and nail art, and have the best colour options too. I love how they don’t use a drill to remove the previous varnish, and so my nails continue to be in great condition. I love all the ladies here as they make me feel so welcome and do such a good job- I’m so grateful and love coming here. Thank you! Xxxx

   The best place I have ever been for nails and pedicures. I am the sort of person who can ruin even Shellac after 2 days, but not when these guys do it! Alona is the absolute best!!! The place smells gorgeous and the customer service is second to none.

   Feeling really disappointed after my first visit to House Cats Teddington. The salon itself is lovely and has great reviews hence why I chose to visit - I’m new to the area! However interiors aside, I want to highlight the issues I’ve had. The nail technician whilst lovely, didn’t speak any English and unfortunately resulted in a few communication issues on the shape and colour of the nails. The quality of her work wasn’t great, she’s either new or inexperienced - I’ve had to ask a few times for her to even out the shape. Unfortunately the result is a gel colour which is bumpy and uneven (especially around the edges/cuticles). It doesn’t feel luxurious and it means it will lift/damage/come off sooner and the manicure won’t last as long as better quality manicures.

   So I went here the other day for the Cats Mani & Pedi shellac and to be honest for the £78 I paid was pretty disappointed. The lady that did my nails did do a good job and really paid attention to detail. However from the minute I walked in I did not feel very welcome. The girl that did my nails barely said a word to me and when she gave me instructions did it so quiet I could barely hear it and got annoyed with me if I didn't comply straight away. I don't normally do negative reviews but it was meant to be a birthday treat and the whole time I was there I couldn't wait to leave. I really felt for £78 it should have been a really relaxing experience, it was super quiet and the vibes were just off. They guy behind the counter who took my money was very sweet though and wished me happy birthday. All in all I would not go back.

   The best nail salon in Teddington, by far. Five of us had manicures and pedicures in prep for my daughter’s wedding. The service was superb - the staff are friendly yet professional and the glass of Prosecco each was a lovely bonus! Thank you House Cats team - we will be back soon!
