I got my wedding nails done and they are incredible! The team have modern knowledge and fantastic technique. I’ve had so many compliments. I go to the salon every month to get BIAB and always have a great experience.
Visited twice but not going back. First visit they were very busy and my manicure was constantly being interrupted by phone calls. However I did have a good manicure, so went back again. This time they were running over 12 mins behind my booked appointment time. The manicure felt rushed, soaking water was cold, no hand massage (hand lotion only put on back of hand after I asked), filing etc done so roughly it hurt and I had to ask for cuticle oil. Application of the nail polish could be better.
WORST NAIL SALON IN THE CARSHALTON/SUTTON AREA -HORRIBLE NAILS - RUDE RUDE RUDE STAFF -DIRTY SALON -ALTERNATIVE NAIL SALON WITH GUARANTEED GOOD RESULTS 5 MINUTES AWAY INCLUDED IN THIS REVIEW I visited Carshalton Nails as it is 2 minutes from my house. Usually I go to Beautiful Nails in Sutton however they did not have any appointments so I had booked an appointment at Carshalton Nails for a simple black full-set of acrylic nails. From arriving, the atmosphere in the salon was cold. This was just the start of a series of unfortunate events. When the nail technician had finished the nails, it was clear the job was subpar. The edges were unpainted, and the acrylic itself was bumpy and also got black paint all over my hands (see photos). When I kindly asked for a touch-up, the nail technician claimed it wasn't possible as it was because of the shape of my natural nail. This was questionable as i have never been to a nail shop and they’ve painted the nails in such a way. I expressed this and suddenly a tall lady, presumably a manager, comes charging over exclaiming, 'WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?!' When I calmly explained the issues and actively pointed it out on my fingers, she responded, 'YOUR STANDARDS ARE TOO HIGH, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.' I was completely flabbergasted at the reaction of this so-called manager, especially after pointing out the discrepancies in each nail which i feel was reasonable? After pleading, they removed the nails completely (even though all i wanted was for them to touch up the edges and smooth out the acrylic). During this time, my hands were thrown about left right and centre, whilst they were also speaking their language, assumingly about me). Honestly the worst experience i’ve ever had in a nail salon and say to say i will not be returning! Beautiful Nails in Sutton provided a much better experience every time i’ve gone there so I will most definitely be sticking with them from now on! Avoid Carshalton Nails for quality service.
It is a good salon. The guys are positive and try to do a good job. I did pedicure and manicure, unfortunately one nail was not well polished and the shellac is chipped. I came next day, they repaired it for free and put for all nails extra top which helped. I like the massage during my pedicure. They don’t accept credit card which was off, but I didn’t have cash so I paid somehow with instagram. It was weird because the manager of the salon asked my personal smartphone without explanation why she need it. I didn’t give it to her until she asked me if I have an instagram, after I opened the instagram she helped me with a payment. I don’t like to give my phone to anybody hands since these days it contains so much personal information. They should accept credit cards without this weird give me your phone and making payment through Instagram.
3rd time of visiting and couldn't be happier. Lovely manicure and BIAB. Natural look and well manicured for work. Will be back again. Thanks x
Delighted with my first experience at Carshalton Nails and will be returning regularly. You can make an appointment which refreshingly was on time. The salon is clean and welcoming, it smelt amazing. I am over the moon with my nails and it was price very reasonably.
Delighted with my nails, again , this evening. Beautifully shaped as well as painted. Team in party mood - made it a fun experience- the benefit of finding somewhere you like and getting to know people so they know what you like. Happy new year guys
