   It was extremely awful and bad, wide nails full of builder gel without any elegance or cleanliness. Even when I told the staff to clean around my nails, they said you don't need to. In less than 24 hours, my nails broke. It was extremely bad. Very, very bad.

   I too had a really bad experience at this salon. My manicure itself was very poor, with no cuticle work. The polish application was untidy, uneven, lumpy and sloppy. I very much got the impression that they were trying to rush people through and didn't really care about the quality of the service that they delivered

   I wanted to share my recent experience at the salon. I had booked an appointment with Emily, but when I arrived, it seemed the staff weren’t aware of my booking, and Emily was around 20 minutes late. When she did arrive, she only did my pedicure and then passed me on to another technician for my nails, without any explanation. The technician who did my nails was patient, but unfortunately, he accidentally cut my finger. What concerned me was that he didn’t seem to know how to clean or treat the cut, and I had to stop him from continuing when he tried to apply powder over the open wound, which could have caused an infection. I was also uncomfortable because the tools didn’t appear to be properly sanitised. To add to that, I felt uneasy as it seemed some staff members were speaking about me in their own language, which came across as unprofessional and made me feel self-conscious. They did acknowledge the mistake and gave me £10 off, which I appreciated, but overall, the experience left me feeling disappointed. I think with better communication, punctuality, hygiene practices, and professionalism, the service could be much better.

   I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon. The technician was rushed and didn’t take the time to properly shape or smooth my nails. The acrylics started lifting after just a few days, and the overall finish was uneven and messy. On top of that, the staff wasn’t very friendly or rude accommodating when I pointed out the issues. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and service. I wouldn’t recommend this place and definitely won’t be coming back.

   Been a client here for 1 year and couldn’t be more than happy! The staff are super friendly and always listen to what I want. The pink french tip set by Jade is stunning and received so many compliments. Always walk out a happy customer.

   I’ve been going here for over 10 years, and I still go here to get my nails done despite having moved to East London. Not only are all the staff extremely talented and precise, they’re also very friendly and great to chat with. Would recommend this place to everyone!

   I don’t usually write reviews, and particularly not negative ones. However on this occasion, my experience was so awful that something needs to be said. Recently, I booked in myself and my partner to have a pedicure before our holiday. We booked our appointment and had organised our day accordingly. I was aware that the salon is often busy, so we half expected that we were going to be seen later than expected. We were both sat down on the pedicure seats (not together, but this wasn’t the end of the world), and my partner was seen within about 10 minutes. Emily (the owner) gave him his entire pedicure in no longer than a further 10 minutes. I was still sat waiting, and the customers to my side also found this so bad it was funny. Eventually after over half an hour I had my pedicure done, very nicely, but of course the experience was not the best. I went to see Emily after to just explain that we weren’t too happy. Not only was I left to wait for such a long time but my partner did not think his pedicure was worth £25. Now I hate complaining, and really did put this in a polite and gentle way. When I tell you that Emily EXPLODED.. ive never seen anything like it. In front of all the customers in the shop she went absolutely crazy (thank goodness it was clear that I was trying to be gentle with her). I know Emily quite well, we have had some nice conversations in the past.. this was totally unnecessary, inappropriate, and of course embarrassing. I tried to pay and leave as we only wanted to give some feedback, however she refused to take any payment, and kicked me and my partner out of the salon. Let me just say that this is coming from someone that had been coming to this salon every two- three weeks for the past 6 years. For this reason I assumed that this was all a big misunderstanding, and after a couple of months I returned yesterday to have my nails done. I was told I was permanently banned and again was chucked out. I know they can have some nasty complaints from time to time and can understand their frustration. However I did not behave in this way, and Emily was completely unreasonable. I don’t condone a business like this, where the owner is such a nasty personality. Obviously I won’t be returning again, and will be finding a business which is much more deserving. Last note, I do want to say that Andy the nail artist is amazing, very accommodating and an absolute asset to what is shown to be an extremely poorly run business. If you do decide to visit Mill Hill Nails, he’s fantastic.

   Had my nails done by Heidi over a month ago and they came out perfect!! She was kind and really helpful when it came to choosing the colour so they still looked nice after my nails had grown out. Its getting hard to type now so I’m going back today to get a shorter set but they havent broken or lifted so i couldve kept them longer
