   Never coming back. They are never on time and although they have great colours the paint is so old and bad quality that chips, peels and comes off in days. It’s the third time I have to come to fix a pedicure and even calling in advance and asking what time they still make me wait 20 minutes being 9 months pregnant. The last three gel pedicures have chipped and not lasted more than two weeks while in other places I can last 4 weeks.

   Fab experience!! Visited without booking and was seen straight away. Nails are fab and were perfectly done. I think the lovely lady who did my nails was called Julie. She took her time to ensure they were absolutely perfect and did an amazing job!!

   Absolutely ridiculous . My worst experience ever , they should not let this kind of amateurs work as manicurists at all . No wonder why all the customers were waiting for ( Magda ) . Probably she is the only one who can do the work. I didn’t realise how bad they were until i got out. This ugly , thick bullshit costed me 57£ !!!!! Had to go and redo them again immediately . Waisted my time and money…. BE AWARE !

   It has been 2 years since I last had my nails done with Lucy and although it was great the first time, I have sadly had to edit this review today, as I will not be going back to Sudan nails. :( My appointment was rushed and in doing so big chunks of my cuticles were cut into on 3 different nails (see attached photos). Whilst bleeding throughout the appointment, nothing was done about it and it doesn't look like the cleanest tools were used, so I worry about infection too (I have used antiseptic cream now). Although the BIAB itself is nice, my nails are all shaped slightly differently and not smooth with jagged edges.

   I have just finished my first and only manicure there. The lady was nice and fitted me in early & was quick but the salon is really unclean. I never ever reviews but this is a safety hazard. The soak of acetone used for my nails was filled with dirt (I noticed after the fact and realised new acetone was not given to me). The brushes and colour wheels were filthy as were the general nail tables. I wouldn’t be surprised if I got an infection from this. I feel bad about writing this but it wouldn’t pass a hygiene inspection at all. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 as the girl who did my nails was nice and efficient.

   My go to nail place. I love me some nail art and they always do the designs exactly how I want them. Tina my nail tech responsible for my most recent nails did a great job and had a gentle hand so I did not feel uncomfortable at any point during my appointment.

   I have been a loyal customer to Sudan since February 2020 and It takes me an hour to get there because the salon I deemed provided great quality service and always left me with beautiful nails. Amy the nail tech that done my nails was super abrasive and very rushed. (Granted I was 7 minutes late for my appointment but it doesn’t justify such botched service.) She left my nails wonky, lumpy coats of gel polish, thick and not the shape I showed her. I showed her oval shape but was left with almond. She did ask me how short I wanted but as I was still thinking, it was cut short and it was too late. The whole thing was very sloppy, rushed and had zero care or attention to detail. I actually wanted a design this time round but since the service was so rushed I changed it to plain. I don’t know whether I’ll be back as they have always done a good job but this time I just wasted time and money on the worst nails ever done and now I’m stuck with them for a month. Before and after pics attached; Before -the nails done the month before by Sudan and after- what I left with today, I’m so upset As other customers mentioned below there are varying quality of work and bad customer service.

   I won't be back, techs have different standards of work but charge the same price. Don't expect any complaints to be met with an apology or solution. Also SCAMMING people by charging more for 'Gel powder' when it's literally just acrylic. Don't be fooled! I used to get acrylic nails all the time and was suspicious when I saw them use what I know to be acrylic when I booked gel powder. I asked them what the difference was and they just looked a bit panicked and said gel lasts longer. After some research online it turns out I was right and this is a marketing tactic salons use since 'acrylic' has a bad rep. I was happy with the result of my first visit so I came back for a refill and the quality of the nail art just wasn't the same. I made it clear during that I wasn't happy with it, the blue lines had already dried at this point and apparently taking it off and changing the style wasn't an option. I made it clear after she was done that I didn't like them at all but I was still asked to pay full price (£50)?? I gave the receptionist £40 and said I wasn't happy with paying full price because I wasn't satisfied. There was a back and forth as the owner was on lunch and then the tech came over and said fine. I called the salon after I had got home and asked to speak to Sudan the owner to say I'd like them re done, she said I'd have to pay £10 for the same lady to do them or £20 for someone else. Now why would I want to go back to the same lady who's quality of work I didn't like AND pay on top of that? If your staff are producing poor work is it not your responsibility as the owner to take the hit on the cost and ensure the customer is satisfied? Really bad customer service, that's not how you treat customers if you hope for them to return and bring you more business.
