Young tall polish girl on the self checkouts is appalling, not the first time but on multiple occasions this lady has embarrassed me, been rude and short multiple times. Saturday 29th November at 4:30 pm myself and others received terrible treatment, no manners, shouting at customers and lack of respect. It’s distrusting, I don’t agree with how she handles conflict and customer scenarios, lacks any professionalism whatsoever. Genuinely disgusted

I recently went with a friend to buy some beer. The lady told me she wouldn’t sell it to me because I was talking with my friend about alcohol while standing in the queue. This is absurd. I went to another shop instead. I want to add that I was sober. Tesco will collapse in a few years because they are asking for it themselves. People simply stop shopping there because of the terrible customer service.

I sit here in Tesco Wrexham awaiting a locksmith! As I've locked myself out of my car! Derrrrr! The parking is for 3hrs free, but ill be here longer than that as the locksmith has said at least 2hrs? I'd done my shopping before hand. The cafe assistant Kevin very kindly informed his manager of my dilemma and kindly put my car reg in for an all day stay, so I dont get fined. What a super Star ☆ Thank you Tescos ☆

as someone who works in retail: really, REALLY poor customer service. my boyfriend and i came into the store tonight to buy ourselves dinner, some snacks and a few small cans of alcohol. when we approached the self checkout, a security guard and all the surrounding staff members were staring at us- I thought nothing of it, since we’re 18 and 19 and I just figured they were probably cautious of our age. anyway, we get to the self checkout, before we finish scanning things a member of staff approaches us. she silently stood between us and didn’t say anything so I assumed she was waiting to see our IDs, so we both got them out- as im trying to get my driver’s license out shes pointing at things I haven’t scanned yet- as if reminding me to scan them? i guess? this already felt uncomfortable, until she looked at both of our IDs and very confidently (and accusingly) said ‘I know that you’re both old enough, but I think you’ve been drinking already, haven’t you?’ this shocked me, since we were literally completely stone cold sober, so I simply said no- when she pressed on, I explained that I drove to the store, to which she told me the staff thought I was ‘walking a bit-‘ and then, instead of using an adjective, proceeded to exaggeratedly mock the way I walk (I walk with a slight limp and have forever been picked on for it so it’s a very sensitive thing for me haha, I was also holding onto my boyfriends arm and leaning on him) i explained to her that i have a slight limp, and in fairness to her she did (albeit briefly) apologise, and then was overly friendly as she scanned our things through (although it did still feel like she thought we were stealing and that’s why she was ‘helping’) the final thing she said to us was ‘thanks ladies’ which also just felt uncomfortable since my boyfriend is very much not a lady, and it came across as very condescending anyway it was just a very disappointing and actually upsetting experience. we both felt very confused and embarrassed. again, I work in retail, i understand sometimes you can suspect certain things and not be correct- but as members of staff you have to at least make an effort to be subtle. idk.

Horrendously busy no matter what time you go there, badly laid out, noisy, cramped and on the whole very unpleasant staff. And that’s before the customers jostle into you, passive aggressively saying “sorry” as they invade your space repeatedly. To be avoided if you value your sanity and nerves.

Sorry Tesco you're degrading. Every visit this month has had issues. Used to be quite good but every visit this month found an issue with differences between shelf edge pricing and pos pricing

It's a decent shop and it stocks nearly everything you could imagine, well that's not true actually because I can imagine all sorts of varied stuff that Tesco can't offer, but you get my gist I'm sure. I also believe this particular Tesco Extra has one of the highest cheese sales in the UK. People from Wrexham must be very fond of cheese, I know I am!
