   Nutcracker Christmas 2025. Northern were beautiful as always. I'm never disappointed by Northern. The scenes where all the girls danced together dressed in red and green were my favourite parts. The orchestra were just as beautiful too, tucked away out of sight but producing their usual stunning music. My only disappointment was that some people in the audience complained about a little girl in the audience who was sat to the side of us. She wasnt making a sound, just fidgeting a little like girls do. She and her family didn't return to their seats after the interval and missed the best parts of the performance. If that was you complaining and you're reading this, shame on you! We need kids to get interested in the arts and besides that that family wasted a lot of money on seats in the stalls thanks to you

   Why do the people of Merseyside need to travel 1.5 hours each way to see ballet. Northern Ballet should tour more widely. But if they're dancing along to a CD or treating musicians poorly, I'm not giving them my business anyway.

   Yesterday I attended a performance of Romeo and Julliett at Leeds Playhouse with friends. The perfomace was absolutely amazing... We all enjoyed it very much... and i can't wait to go again...

   Absolutely fabulous performances by Northern Ballet! We have seen a few performances by the company, including Romeo and Juliet and their Christmas production of The Nutcracker. Our most recent visit was to see 'The Tortoise and The Hare' with our 3 year old daughter - it was fantastic and my daughter was hooked for the full performance! So pleased I can now take my daughter to the ballet with these kid friendly performances (plus, they had some arts and crafts - and of course stickers for all the kids!)

   My son and daughter went to the Lyceum Theatre (Crewe) to watch the Ugly Duckling. Not only did they thoroughly enjoy it, but I was so pleased to see such diverse group of ballet dancers. Thank You Northern Ballet ! It means so much to us!

   My son had a great audition and had a recall for CAT and accepted on to the associate programme and he felt no pressure while dancing and he had fun and felt like he was in a normal ballet lesson

   To all the members of the Company appearing this evening 1st October 2014 at Nottingham's Theatre Royal in The Great Gatsby: Thank you for a wonderful evening of dance and music. I read the novel many years ago, saw the film with Robert Redford and Mia Farrow and when I saw you were performing this I did wonder what it would be like. The emotions shown by the dancers, their interpretation of the music and the costumes were just amazing. I have been to many of your ballets and I always wonder what you will bring to us the next year but as always your wonderful company and musicians never fail to impress. Thank you to one and all.
