   Stayed last week for the second time. The first being 2 years ago. Really lovely, very clean and well kept. Nice touches like champagne and chocolates on arrival as well as tea coffee and a lot of kitchen condiments. The spa was an amazing addition too. The house is well away from the road and very quiet.

   Top class accommodation. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Very well situated for exploring Chesterfield, Matlock, Matlock Bath and Bakewell etc.

   Great location for a family or team get together. Great space for formal meals, informal relaxing in a good sized lounge. A small but useful gym. A useful , spacious and functional kitchen with dual ovens multiple sinks and prep areas. The building uses heat pump tech which is unique and green leaning, it's naturally airing too with large sets of opening roof vents. Overall a great visit to the area.

   I have not stayed at this hotel but it's come up on Google maps that I did do. I had better check with my bank for possible fraudulent activity. I'm quite sure the hotel is lovely though. I've just never been.
