Tesco petrol station in Mold sells diesel for £1.98.9 per litre. Rhydymwyn Service Station, 5 minutes away, and an independent retailer, sells diesel for £1.91.9 per litre. If a small independent retailer can do this, why can't Tesco?
Good self service station. Only open till 10, though. I filled up at quarter to 20 and they were already putting the locks on the pumps
This is supposed to be 24 hours but they cone off the exit only and lock the nozzles onto the pumps so you can get in, can't get fuel and can't get out! Very inconvenient. I initially thought it was a one off and maybe they had ran out of fuel but it happens a lot.
Tesco's petrol station at Station Yard in Mold is part of Tesco's broader retail offering which includes a surprisingly well stocked grocery store. The petrol station is located off one of Mold's principal town centre roundabouts and affords easy access to a well specified forecourt with either point of sale execution at pump or counter, and hoses/nozzles which you can confidently expect to reach "the other side" when circumstances dictate. The store is adequately stocked for convenience and cashiers execute their job diligently.
Difficult to critique a Tesco petrol station! It's got plenty of pumps and a decent sized shop. Can get busy on a Saturday because of the supermarket trade. Pretty much, if you've been to one, you've been to them all.
