We are so lucky to have such a great paint and DIY shop. Very knowledgeable staff that are able to mix paint on the spot or even sometimes before you get to shop to collect. Free parking outside also. All of their Google reviews are five star for good reason!

Decor Scene stocks pretty much everything and Mike goes over and above every single time I’ve needed something. Not only can he mix any paint colour but he has also been so much more helpful than the big chain stores I’ve gone to in the past. I was so surprised to find that the prices were extremely competitive given that it’s an independent store. The cherry on the top was that his advice saved me a bucket load of money which shows integrity that you don’t see every day considering that this ultimately means less profit for his business - what an absolute gem of a person. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now.
This is gem of a mini DIY shop with paint mixing facility. We only went out to get a 2.5L Dulux paint as our decorator needed more whilst painting our woodwork at home. We walked out with over £100 worth of other paints and accessories which we may need later. This was purely down to the young man Mike who went an extra mile in providing us the kind of service one seldom experiences these days. After today's experience this has now become our destination shop for all the DIY needs going forward.
I have been buying paint from Decor Scene for many years and have always found them to be very responsive and helpful. However, on my last visit this was taken to a new level when I asked them to mix some paint to match a kitchen cupboard door and not only did they match the existing colour, but they also painted the door for me – great customer service!
I've been going to Decor Scene for as long as I've lived in Rickmansworth (17yrs) which i think says it all. However I'm leaving a review today as they went above and beyond. I needed a rather specialist tool which they didn't have in stock but after looking through their toolbox, they found something which they leant me and it did the job! Thank you.
