I bought some 9mm mdf and asked them to make some complex cuts. The team were really helpful and made a great job. It is an Aladdin’s cave. They have a great selection of stock. Definitely worth a visit before you head to the big chains. Collection of bulky objects behind the shop in the yard.
Made the order on Friday the lady on reception didn’t listen to anything I needed, the ordered turned up Monday completely wrong, I took a day of work for nothing, when I rang I heard the same woman say “oh my god” like I was the one in the wrong!! However I spoke to Jack who was very helpful and apologised

Excellent service, quick better then the other stores and the young lad at the counter particularly with the other staff are excellent at their job and make sure there's no trouble.
Highly NOT recommended, wrong order processing and extremely poor customer service at the helpline as well as their delivery representative. First they processed & delivered the wrong order, and when we were trying to sort it out with their helpline, their delivery representative very rudely and loudly started saying that he was leaving as he had much other work to do too. He was very loud right in front of our house, in a very quiet neighborhood which was very embarrassing for us. Their helpline eventually admitted that they had delivered the wrong order and that their guy would take the stuff back which he was adamant that he wouldn't not touch in loading back and that we needed to load the timber back on the vehicle (we would have happily done that as my husband did help in unloading too, but this delivery guy was unbelievably too rude). The delivery guy at their advice did take the stuff back and left consistently murmuring in Punjabi. When the customer services called us back to confirm the return of money, they totally refused to take any customer feedback about their delivery guy's poor courtesy and rude behaviour literally saying that this was already mentioned in the first call. For them it was not important how bad a customer was made feel by their delivery guy's poor, rude and discourteous behaviour. Totally poor customer service overall. We would never buy from them again, provided that we have been their loyal customer for more than 10years.
The poorest customer service I have ever seen. I have never in my life come across such a store with rude employees. I paid for a service which was buying wood and requesting for it to be cut into basic rectangular pieces. Once paid, i was ignored by the carpenter several times and then i had to ask another employee to speak to him. Upon my return, i saw that the wood had not been cut to the size i requested and once i asked, i was told that they did not have time and on top of that, i was told it was a waste of time. A member of our team visited only a day ago and purchased the same wood and same cutting service! After speaking to another member of staff, i eventually returned and saw the wooden pieces cut after i said i didn't want them. This is a service i paid for it was not free. Absolutely terrible customer service. If i could give 0 stars i would.
Terrible customer service and the attitude! Include delivery prices into product without advising, where the last few times had a free delivery. Wasted time. Not recommend at all, plenty of places around with value to customers and much more pleasant.
Could find a plumbing item that was not available in screw-fix/had to be bought with a set which was of no use. Great staff, searched up from the whole shop to get the simple piece I was after. Very reasonable and good friendly staff. Thanks a lot.
