I used to spend hundreds of pounds at this shop every month. Got a parking fine for overstaying (after a Β£100 purchase). Never received the letter so the first contact was from debt collectors trying to collect Β£200. Spoke to the store manager who showed no interest in helping and told me I should have read the signs. I now go to B&Q 5min away.

Excellent aftercare service from Simon Gilbert at the South Ealing showroom. I had a few follow-up questions about the kitchen Iβd purchased and Simon genuinely listened, took on board what I was saying and then talked me through the options available. What I really appreciated was that he didnβt just give an opinion β he explained the choices clearly and gave the pros and cons of each option, so I could make the right decision for me. Overall, exceptional customer service and advice. Professional, patient and genuinely helpful. Highly recommended.

Absolutely horrific customer service from their design team. Before even attending an appointment, the design consultant ranted off that it would cost me no less than 8k to do a single bathroom and 'so do you want it or not?' was posed to me. No discussion about finishes or what designs, just an abrupt, can you afford it or not. This was after me saying I havent decideded on a budget as we are not aware of what the usual costs are. When did it become the norm to ask if I can afford a cost before even telling me what I would get for that. Absolutely insulting and a waste of time.

I am deeply disappointed with Wickes' handling of a recent issue. I purchased engineered wood flooring for a client project, and after installation, discoloration occurred in the kitchen area. Despite the product being advertised as suitable for underfloor heating, the discoloration appears to be a result of a defect. The customer service experience was frustrating and far from helpful. After reaching out, I was directed to the manufacturer, Woodpecker Flooring, for advice. The solution they offered was to attempt treatments such as hydrogen peroxide and bleach, which is not an acceptable or practical fix for a product that was sold with a warranty. Whatβs most concerning is the lack of urgency or responsibility taken by Wickes in resolving the issue. Instead of offering a clear resolution, I was left waiting and dealing with a series of ineffective suggestions. Iβm now in a position where I will need to reorder the same product at my own expense to address the problem for my client. While I understand that warranty terms exist, the customer service I received was disappointing, and I feel that Wickes could have done much more to support its customers. For anyone considering purchasing from Wickes, I would recommend being cautious, as their warranty and support system fell short in this instance. I hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision.

I ordered a KΓ€rcher K5 Pressure Washer, but what arrived was a K2 Compact in a badly re-taped, previously opened box. Inside, everything was covered in dust, and several parts were missing. Clearly, this was not the new product I paid for. To make matters worse, after waiting in all day for delivery, customer service was unhelpful and reluctant to offer any real resolution. I had to argue just to get free delivery as compensation, which hardly makes up for the hassle. Overall, a frustrating and disappointing experience. Next time, Iβll be buying from Toolstation instead!

Don't waste your time with this store! This store has never been great but recently it has got so bad I will be moving on and finding a new place for my supplies. The staff here are all totally incompetent apart from one named Baldev who is great. The guy they call the store manager is a complete waste of human life and could not care less about the store or the customers. Staff are all rude and and don't want to be there. It's time they close this place down.

Just visited this branch, overheard one of the staff and a customer arguing for at least 15mins because the staff member didn't think he needs to listen to complaints and started telling off the customer. Also had bad experience with the staff there myself due to their bad attitude and poor customer service. Very ill mannered and unprofessional. They need to be trained on customer service and how to talk to customers on a professional manner, unless they are not running a business to make a profit from sales! I certainly won't be purchasing anything from this branch ever again. B & Q and Screw fix can have my business instead.

I was looking to speak to one of the staff about mixing paints. So I went to this guy at one of the tills and was about to ask him for help. He had such a long face. Really bad attitude. Not even friendly. Just looked at me said forget it. So much for for having a friendly face. Even another staff said he can get quite moody. I can't believe I still purchased something from there. I think Wicks should train their staff to be more friendly
