   This was about 10 years ago that I bought 1 inch thick oak panels to make internal window sills and they were very helpful. They are a woodworker paradise, so many types of wood. Very highly recommended them. Going to retire and start diy woodwork. Hopefully will be visiting soon.

   I had a brilliant experience of Dave and the team today! I called ahead to check if they did what I was looking for as I only wanted a small bit of timber and didn’t want to seem like a wally asking for it if they only did big wholesale jobs but like the other reviews say on here the team are all so helpful and the man that cut the wood for me was absolutely brilliant. He showed me some different options and then took the time to cut it tight for me. Very happy, my garden will now be totally let secure! Thank you

   I’ve just finished a 5 month project where I shopped around all the big builders merchants before buying. I ended up going with Alsford Timber as they were the most local to me and he only ones who showed genuine interest in the quote (DIY garden room) whilst still matching the prices of the big 3. The order was called off in 14 deliveries and they have been very patient and accommodating. Could not recommend enough. Big thanks to Ollie, Tom, Dave & Tony!

   Having made previous enquiries at Alsfords regarding Trex Composite Decking, I went into the branch today to confirm and order the decking, only to be told there is no stock and it won't be available till mid Aug. I'd went away to try and find an alternative, managed to find the UK stockist for Trex Decking, they advised they have plenty of stock and ready to supply the stockist. (Alsfords). I went back again, approx 1pm. Another chap this time took my details after I described the above... all he had to do is call the supplier and call me back. I hadn't received any call back.... I found another stockist, Alloway Timbers, they confirmed a delivery date, a price all within 5mins. Poor show Alsfords....
