   Has all the timber you require to complete a project. I've ordered a few times from them and their service is top notch and the quality of the materials also. Highly recommend, but they are not the cheapest around, but they carry alot of stock.

   Needed 2 extra shelves for an old IKEA bookcase. Took an original shelf and 2 new ones were cut to length and width from a single length of edge laminated pine. Fitted perfectly and including the support pins cheaper than replacements from the maker. Including travel there and back less than 1 hour. And the staff were very helpful and pleasant.

   G’day , I just went to Champion Timber New Malden as suggested by a buddy who’s good within the building trade , to buy some specific hinges for a custom fit wardrobe I’m building which I want precisely fitted though it is quite geometric & fiddly . I was met by a gentleman Chis B who listened keenly to what I wanted , he put a couple of questions back to me I guess to confirm he understood exactly what I needed , & within moments he passed me the ideal fittings at a modest price . Chris has saved me both a lot of time & higher costs Excellent Customer Service Go there first & get it right first time around Thanks Chris Regards J

   Very disappointed with the prices. It feels like a Leyland-style setup but with timber, and everything is heavily overpriced. I’d strongly recommend staying away—competitors offer the same products for much less. For example, hardwood here costs almost double compared to Builders Depot Merchant. Never go there again. Absolutely ridiculous.

   We visited our local branch (Claygate) and explained what we wanted to achieve. The manager was extremely helpful - he took down the measurement and worked out the exact amount of timber we needed and also gave us a couple of different timber options to choose from. The next day the timber was delivered and up went the slat fencing. I can’t thank the Claygate team enough; friendly, skilled, experienced and they were happy to go above the rest, to offer that top level of service. I would highly recommended!

   Friendly service however we ordered MDF white wood to use as the backing for our cupboard and asked for it to be cut to size. The employee cut 1 and a half cm shorter than we asked. Take a measuring tape with you to double check or have them write the measurements you asked for on the receipt. It would have been a complete waste of time and money had we not taken the wood they cut off home with us - having to put the two bits together now to complete the backing.
