   RACIAL PROFILING! I just had the worst experience at this store where I believe I was racially profiled. I was spraying a few fragrance testers to decide if I wanted to buy any and a man working at the store came up to ask me if I could afford £20 for the perfumes. I was really shocked and confused so I asked him if he thought I looked like I couldn't afford to buy it and he continues saying "it's just a question, yes or no?" So I told him not to bother and left. I rarely ever leave negative reviews but felt it was necessary to warn others!

   Entered the shop going by the name as 'Pound + Island London' for a few bits and bobs. Was greeted by a gentleman named Samir. This young man advised me on which equipment to purchase and was truly a helping hand. Will definitely be visiting this shop again.

In addition to his excellent customer service, Samir went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed. He even offered suggestions on alternative products that could better suit my needs and budget. Overall, my experience at the shop with Samir was outstanding. His expertise and dedication to customer service are a testament to the quality of the store and its employees. I would highly recommend this hardware shop, and especially Samir, to anyone in need of hardware supplies or advice.

He even went above and beyond by recommending a more cost-effective solution that would work just as well for my needs.    Pound island is well organised and always stocked , you will find whatever you need. They have a lot of products that are very useful . This shop is very handy as it’s situated right next to the bus stop. I thank all the staff for the kindness and lots of laughter, especially Samir!
