Overpriced. unhelpful and very rude staff especially if you need an exchange or refund . Avoid if you can, plenty of other suppliers around where you can get a better service and save some money at the same time.
Fantastic service from start to finish! Cheapest prices we found online and a pleasure to deal with! We have just undergone a loft extension in Wimbledon and stumbled across Extons whilst shopping for roofing material online. They were by far the cheapest for our roof tiles and Velux windows! Such helpful staff and they managed to source literally everything our builders needed! We have already recommended Extons to all our family and friends looking for building suppliers! 5 stars!!
Rude, superior and unhelpful, and thats the good stuff. They gave me the wrong info and prices on the phone and once I had got all the way to Wandsworth there was no apology, just adamant denial. They then said "just give her a refund" which I said I did not want so he told me to "get out" of their shop. I said I had just paid £350 and I would be taking MY supplies with me. They sound like stockbrokers but unfortunately do not have any manners. I am 53 and female .... maybe they just dont like older women?
I run my own roofing company and use Extons on a daily basis. Robert, mark, James and Harry are very knowledgeable and are always on hand to help if and when I need. If they haven’t got the material I need in stock. Within a couple of days it’s arrived and have phoned to let me know. Great family business highly recommend.
Bought a load of slate tiles on the understanding that we could take back the oversupply. Very friendly service. When it came to taking them back, service was shocking. The guy was rude and unhelpful and point blank refused. In future, I will be using the bigger stores like selco and screwfix who are cheaper and don't have any issues when you take things back.
