    I went to tooting branch today and was needing some little help I ask for something wasn't sure I check packaging everything myself but on the till one girl with black scarf working I ask her she ask her colleague then she goes maybe maybe not yes no and she wasn't sure about what she saying she was that lazy to come out and check the product for me she didn't had no customer to serve but she was leaning on counter unfriendly rude lazy women I ever seen she don't know where she is standing working in bnq and no helping customer

    I am extremely disappointed and concerned after my recent experience at B&Q Tooting High Street. On May 31st this year, I purchased a fan from the store. Within just a few weeks, the fan became dangerously faulty β€” it started to severely overheat and make loud, alarming noises while running. We were asleep at the time, with our one-year-old child in the room. Had I not woken up when I did, it could easily have caused a fire, putting our family at serious risk. I returned to the store to report this and request a refund or replacement. The store manager, Richard, refused to help because I did not have the original receipt or packaging. I explained that under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a bank statement is valid proof of purchase for faulty goods β€” and that original packaging is not required by law when returning faulty items. When I suggested they check the CCTV or the product details to verify the purchase, he smirked, said β€œWe don’t have time for that,” and laughed β€” showing complete disregard for the situation. Instead, he kept repeating β€œHow can I be sure this was bought here without the packaging?” β€” yet refused to take any steps to check or confirm this. This is absolutely unacceptable behaviour from B&Q staff β€” particularly when a faulty product could have endangered a family and a young child. We will be taking further action and expect B&Q to take responsibility and ensure their staff treat product safety issues with the seriousness they deserve.

    I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt this needed to be said. I had an awful experience at the Tooting branch with a member of staff named Maryan. The way she spoke to me was completely unacceptableβ€”rude and disrespectful. It’s clear that staff like her would benefit from further training in customer service. Additionally, the way she spoke to her own colleagues was just as concerning. This kind of behavior shouldn’t be tolerated in any workplace.

    I’ve been a loyal customer of B&Q for years, but my recent experience at the Tooting High Street branch was very disappointing. Yesterday, I purchased a few LED bulbs, and after installing them at home, I found that one was faulty. Unfortunately, I had already discarded the packaging. When I returned to the store today to explain the issue, the cashier didn’t even acknowledge me properly. Without even listening or asking about the problem, she immediately said, β€œWe can’t accept anything without the original packaging.” There was no attempt to offer a solution, no courtesy, and not even a simple greeting. She seemed completely disinterested and annoyed to be serving me. I understand that stores have policies, but customer service should still be helpful and professional. A bit of empathy and effort to assist customers would go a long way. Very disappointing experience.

    Really disappointed in the staff unwillingness to help.the young black man was rude and unhelpful.i was looking for a Hacksaw blade .his answer don't know ,have a look over there.after wisting a good 5 minutes looking for the blade a lovely,polite ,young ginger lady helped me.many thanks to her. But won't be shopping there anymore.

    The people on the till were helpful when I selected the wrong paint, they had amazing patience with me and offered me useful advice on the plant I bought today!! Definitely a good experience.

    They should really call it β€œb&q” as it’s basically a small shop sized version of the B&Q s you may know. It’s a great idea and useful shop but if you made a trip there expecting the range of a standard warehouse sized B&Q you’d be a bit p@Β£&?d off.
