Brilliant customer service from the team at Buildbase/Huws in Croydon a couple of weekends ago. Advised me on the fence panels and posts I needed for an emergency repair, then offered to deliver them to my house 15 minutes later! Really went above and beyond, deeply impressed and grateful!

Good, friendly staff and a decent size yard. Not the cheapest but still good value
Pretty good selection of hire tools and machines. Have hired cement mixers, industrial vacuum cleaners and floor sanders from them in the past. The majority of the time they provide a good service. With the sanding equipment we had plenty of sanding pads. However with the vacuum cleaner we only had a couple of bags, and needed more. As they are part of a chain, they can draw from a wider pool of store stock which is useful.
Good place to go when you need something, with good staff and a huge range of products in store. Good overall!
