   Whenever I visitor Barkers, I think to myself as I'm leaving that I should write a review. So, finally ..... I can only echo what almost every other contributor has said. The shop is fantastic. You just don't get shops like this anymore. It is everything and more than you could ever want from a little hardware shop round the corner. They have everything. E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G!! If they haven't got it, you don't want it. The staff know where every last nut and bolt is kept and can get whatever it is you need at the drop of a hat. They are excellent. A really lovely shop, with lovely staff.

   Been shopping here for decades. A traditional hardware shop that stocks everything you need, from key cutting to paint & brushes, to tools, ladders - you name it & they’ll have it. Very helpful knowledgeable staff. If you can’t see what you need, just ask, they probably have it downstairs. Highly recommended.

   First time visit ( and only because lockdown meant my normal DIY megastore closed). Great advice given to a novice DIY person like me . very good range... but what I didn't expect was the value they offer. I bought 750ml Dulux Once £11.60... 4 weeks later I found exactly the same product in my local Homebase for £17! Pretty much your perfect local DIY store - and I really recommend them.
