Generally I find this shop vastly overpriced. I would only use this as a last minute purchase, sometimes the prices are eye-watering.
I have been using this store for 4 years now, I have found them all very informative, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. If they do not have anything I need they have always sourced it for me.
The nicest staff ever, I know virtually nothing about DIY and every time I go in they're more than happy to help and advise! I had a brilliant last experience here speaking to guy named Rahul about painting some metal roller shutters.Rahul really kindly spent a long time to go out of his way in explaining each step of the process to me with the funny interactions and cool jokes. I have absolutely no experience with painting shutters and had a lot of questions, all of which were answered kindly and expertly and with a lot of patience. Made me feel so much more confident going forwards with this project, brilliant experience, thanks so much !

The new owners make a world of difference. I’ve been in a half a dozen times, the staff is always friendly, they give good advice and the prices are reasonable. A welcome change!
My favourite shop in Fitzrovia. The store doesn't look large from the outside but it has a lower floor in addition to the ground floor - and the inventory is very efficiently displayed. The staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly (even the odd joke at no extra charge). I'm not very DIY savvy, but Morrells staff have advised me on virtually all of the c.20 projects I've done and their advice has been spot on, delivered in a clear and non-patronising manner, saving me several hundred pounds.

Needed some screws but also wanted some help choosing which ones were fit for the job - staff were really friendly, helped me figure out the ones I wanted and gave me a great price! A brilliant, well stocked local hardware shop!
not good had me wait two days for a delivery after being given a price by one assistant. tool arrives and Im told it will be 30% more than I was told. no apology at all and am now struggling to get the tool to start my job in time, go elsewhere or look online
