   WoodGreen Selco is my favour spot to do my shopping staff! Sam is great manager and very helpful and eager to help with my shopping . Also Vivian is a lovely lady helps with the shopping and helps me to buy the right items when I am not sure what to get for my job! As I am new builder and handyman.

   I’ve been avoiding Selco for a long time because the staff are consistently rude. Unfortunately, whenever I do have to come here, it’s always the same experience. The staff seem too busy chatting instead of helping customers. There’s often nobody at the tills, and when I asked someone if there was anyone to serve me, I was told, “Don’t you see them in the corner? Call them and they’ll come.” That kind of attitude is absolutely unacceptable. I also overheard staff talking about “taking it out” on customers who left bad reviews or complained, even trying to figure out their address from their account details. That’s just thuggish behaviour and completely unprofessional.

   I find this place quite pathetic to be honest. Placed an order for click and collect and went there on the collection time frame and the order was not ready, the person serving told me he was on lunch so 'obviously' could not get it ready (i placed the order around 11.50 to be collected between 1 - 1.30). I finally had to go and get all the things myself. Came to the counter and had to wait for 45 minutes because they are soo slow! Looking for something on their system is so slow you can find them quicker by googling it. Went back the next day to return an item and get another one instead, was told I have to go through the same counter and not through the cashier. That counter was again so slow that I simply kept the unused item and paid for the new one and left. Best thing is not to ever order anything online for click and collect, buying there and pay with the cashier is way was quicker. Products are more expensive compared to the likes of Toolstation or Screwfix, which are just opposite them. For example one roll of electrical tape sell at £1.85 with Selco and 90p with Screwfix. 100% more expensive. Not promoting others but click and collect are ready within 10 minutes with the other merchants. I only go to Selco as a last resort. The only plus things are the staffs are helpful and you get pretty much everything that you want there.

   Well its all good really, most things are in stock although there are still supply problems causing shortages in some areas (as there are everywhere). I had to travel to a second branch to get the rainwater goods I needed, but the prices are fair and the car parks always seem to have space and you can get help if you need it because they are well staffed. Generally a positive experience.

   I had an excellent experience purchasing a kitchen from SELCO TOTTENHAM. Tish was very helpful and patient throughout the design process and the items were delivered on time. However (and this is why only 4stars) I am disturbed by what I witnessed in terms of the delivery. The items were many and very heavy and there was just one person to take the items off the truck and carry inside. That is the same person who was driving the truck. Apart from a pair of gloves he had no safety equip, not even a safety belt to protect his back and no trolley to carry the goods in. Thankfully I had a trolley with which he could wheel the items into the house. Apparently he is an agency driver but that cannot excuse SELCO from some kind of responsibility especially as he is driving a SELCO truck and wearing a SELCO Jacket. Come on SELCO treat all your employees better than that. This is a picture of all he was expected to carry in with his two hands., including an oven.
