We initially chose Wickes because of the excellent service from one of their designers, who presented a fantastic vision for our kitchen renovation. She assured us she would be involved from start to finish, hands-on, available, and committed to ensuring everything went smoothly. Unfortunately, our experience after the design and payment stages has been extremely disappointing. Wickes mishandled our installation date, doubling the booking with the installer and pushing it back without any notice, just no one showed up on the agreed start date and I had to chase our designer down to understand what had happened and when our renovation would start. She had confirmed our original start date, and the delivery team had all the parts delivered on time for it but they didn’t schedule the installer. Several parts were missed or ordered incorrectly, leading to further delays. Despite repeated promises of follow-up calls and escalation to a manager, we’ve received no communication. To make matters worse, a member of the customer service team dismissed our concerns, saying the new date “should be” fine since it’s before our baby’s due date — a completely inappropriate and unprofessional response. While Wickes has acknowledged it’s all been their fault, they have offered no plan of action to resolve them or make things right. It feels as though, once payment was made, customer care and accountability disappeared. When I raised recent concerns about parts she missed ordering, our designer explained that she couldn’t contact the delivery or customer service teams because she was “too busy with other customers.” That says it all. Wickes appears more focused on making sales than on delivering the service and quality they promise. Many of the reviews here shows they have a wider problem with Wickes capacity and coordination. If you’re considering Wickes for a renovation, go anywhere else. our experience shows once they’ve taken your money they don’t provide the support, communication, or professionalism you’d expect once they have your money.

Sree is a credit to Wickes Anerley. We had a thorough consultation regarding our bathroom design. She came up with bespoke, creative an intelligent ideas to help us. She took the time to understand what we wanted and was very responsive to find solutions. Thank you.

I booked an appointment with Wickes and unfortunately, no one showed up. I called twice to follow up, only to be met by a rather standoffish man who told me “someone is on the way,” but couldn’t give me any details because they were driving. Needless to say, no one ever arrived. If this is how the process starts, perhaps it’s a blessing that this “amazing journey” ended before I invested any more time or money. Extremely unreliable and disappointing experience.

Have a super sensitive shop alarm that screams out across the neighbourhood literally a half dozen times a week, often for hours. No one attends to turn it off. So you can just be dozing off and that will be it for hours and hours. It stops and then starts up again. Can hear it 3 streets away. Total disregard and disrespect for local community.

I recently ordered a kitchen from Wickes and while some team members were helpful, the overall experience was disappointing. I paid a deposit in early May and was verbally assured the kitchen would be delivered on 14th May, with the balance due via finance. I was told not to book delivery through the link provided, but I never received written confirmation. There was also an error with my address, which nearly delayed delivery—thankfully a staff member stepped in and resolved it just in time. Once work began, it became clear the kitchen had been measured incorrectly. Wickes responded quickly and re-ordered the necessary parts, but this caused a two-week delay. My builder had to stop work, and I incurred extra costs due to rescheduling tradespeople and lost time. To make matters worse, the wine rack frame was missing from the delivery. Despite a replacement being ordered, it’s now been over three weeks with no update. I’ve spent hours on hold trying to get through to customer service. While I appreciate the support I received from certain staff, the poor communication and delays caused significant stress and expense. I believe a 25% refund would be a fair gesture for the disruption caused.

Our experience with the design consultation service was very disappointing. The initial home visit was brief and we did not have confidence in the agent's knowledge of the products or services on offer. We were told to expect the designs the following day which we have never received. On attending the in-store appointment, we waited for 30 minutes to meet with the agent, who seemed to have double booked, before leaving. We are unclear on the pricing model but were told that any installation begins at £2.5k which seems limiting for smaller home design projects.

Most of staff are friendly and helpful. Lady on checkout today was way too quick to dismiss me with"if it's not on display we don't have it". Luckily I asked another member of staff to check if product was in stock and it was.

I have ordered kitchen @Wickes Anerly and all was OK until after sales! I was promised date for delivery but everything came late and when it did came half of the stuff was missing, other items was damaged and some wrong items was delivered! On my receipt some items was double ordered and charged! Customer service is extremely non existing or unhelpful! Since contact with them about this issue they continued sending the wrong items and my items are still missing! I have no kitchen at the moment and my builders can't continue the work as Wickes has still not delivered the missing items! This delay has cost me so much money as my builder, electrician and plumber all could not continue with the job but need paying! The quality of the kitchen is terrible! Chips everywhere and paint work is of other sides! The worst mistake I made was getting my kitchen from Wickes. I will attach some pictures of cracked units and uneven painted doors bit honestly the pictures do not show the actual damage, it's so much worse when you see it! This is not worth the money! I should have never gone to Wickes! AVOID WICKES KITCHENS! You will spend so much and terrible customer service that don't understand the money you are losing!
