Really depends what you are after... I'd say that 'The Range' is like a budget B&Q that also sells furnishings, cleaning stuff, kitchen equipment and lots of other things. It's great for very cheap (cost) furnishings like blinds, curtains, light bulbs, cleaning products and basic DIY, but if you're after 'proper' tools I would recommend that you find a B&Q or Screwfix. The store is dog friendly. Not really checked out the garden part of the store but expect it's very much like B&M.

Visited the store on Sunday 27/07/25 at 4pm as the indications on Google Maps suggested the store was open until 5pm. Upon arrival the remaining sales associate said on Sunday the store closes at 4pm even by showing him that on their website the closing time once again says 5pm. Very bad communication online and at the point of sale, even more so when someone takes the commitment of visiting after verifying if the store still had open doors. Probably in a rush to cut the shift short. If you visit, just know that you donβt know what to expect.

Came here for the first time on 26/7/25 because it's the nearest to us now that the Surrey Quays branch is closed. Good selection of products here and a big garden centre. Nothing pretty about this store as it's literally a warehouse inside. But nice staff and plenty of parking.

My visit on Monday got a bit disappointed with cashier's that day. 3 cashiers on 1 computer was solving how to complete refund/return item on the system, while ignoring customer line waiting to pay. We ended up with 4 people in front of me and 6 of them behind me. Everyone got frustrated and called manager to sort this out. Thankfully manager seperated 2 at the till and the youngest one of them to sort the problem with that return, what I have admit was great decision!

Initially I had trouble finding help on the shop floor. Eventually a man who walks with a stick, despite his difficulty, followed me to what I needed and was able to give me all the help I needed. He seemed to do it because itβs his nature to be helpful and not just because he has to for his wage.

Good size parking space but slope slots could be tricky especially if you are getting heavy stuff to load. Loads of stuff in store. Good amount of gardening items.

Assistant serving me was a bit stroppy. I bought a real Christmas tree which comes in a pot. She thought the pot was extra and I was trying to explain that it needed a pot, which was included in the price. She eventually, reluctantly agreed.
