We had a great experience at Wickes. We finally found brushes that are impossible to find in Italy and that we had been looking for for a long time. The staff was kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

We had an excellent experience working with Costas Christou as our Kitchen Design Consultant. We made an appointment to visit the showroom, where Costas took the time to show us all the different kitchen styles and options available. Costas also carried out a home visit, which made a huge difference, and his product knowledge was outstanding helping us understand what would work best for our home. From there, he helped us select all the kitchen equipment and carefully designed a layout that works perfectly for our space and how we use it. His long career at Wickes was clearly evident in the depth of his knowledge and the practical advice he gave throughout the process. Nothing felt rushed, and every recommendation was well thought out and tailored to our needs. The delivery team from Wickes were also very friendly and helpful, and we managed to accommodate all the kitchen parts in our garage ready for installation. To complete the project, the fitting team β€” Emin of North Design Limited and his team β€” perfectly complemented Costas’s work with a highly professional, high-quality installation process. The end result exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Costas and the entire team to anyone planning a new kitchen.

I am extremely disappointed with the delivery service I received. Stephen, the delivery driver, was rude and hung up on me when I explained that I needed a moment to come downstairs from my flat. He left without completing the delivery. The same thing happened with Abdul, who said he would wait but left as soon as I wasn’t outside. I tried calling multiple times with no response. This level of service is completely unacceptable, especially considering I paid for delivery. I was forced to find my own way to collect the item, causing major inconvenience. Based on this experience, I will seriously reconsider ordering from Wickes again. Your morning delivery staff were unprofessional and disrespectful, and I am NOT happy with this service.

There is very little positive feedback that we can reasonably give. They are really hard to communicate with, rarely answer any emails, are pushy with designs - even when they don't make sense or reflect what we needed, and once you have paid they will completely ignore you. They are known to deliver kitchens and bathrooms with items missing, and will leave you in the dust when you need help ordering additional items. When you order a kitchen, the handles and hinges of the doors are not included, even though it is required to assemble the kitchen. When you order a bathroom, they will impose subpar contractors on you. They regularly make mistake calculation amounts, dimensions, etc, leaving you to foot the bill for changes. Really difficult experience overall. EDIT: The customer service team, although seemingly polite and constructive on google reviews, have been emailing us back and forth refusing to admit or acknowledge the many mistakes made, emails ignored, calls not answered and delays caused. They offered us a Β£25 gift card which felt a bit insulting and then closed the case when we refused to accept it. If you can, please get your service elsewhere because the customer service and overall service is completely non-existent and you will have to do a lot on your own.

Good place, big store, fairly useful stuff. no other retail stores nearby sadly, however brand new coffee shop just opened up on the corner opposite, otherwise kinda in the middle of nowhere retail-wise.

The most shocking customer service imaginable. Being a local store we regularly order from them for Diy projects. 3 out of 3 times there were problems with delivery- first time wrong size, second time item defective we returned it but never got replaced as promised, and the third time they simply just missed out random items in the list. Spent time talking to customer service, who said have passed on the message to the store and someone will call back, they need to check if the items were actually delivered and if there is a note on the account on the issue. No one ever bother calling back, so when I spend more time waiting to get through to customer service, they said sorry there is no notes on the account so they can’t help!!! This is the second time I expect a call back and honestly this is the worst place to buy things from

I cost about 450.00 pounds on material, then I ate a sandwich they make in the van that is parked in their parking lot, then I went back because I had forgotten some material, another 50 pounds. in all I was parked for 2 hours. They gave me a Β£ 100 fine because I was parked !!! But I was with them to do the shopping. These are out of their minds…. But these are crazy. Bad people, I won't buy a single vine from them anymore. but I call them in court in front of a judge ... .. And I make them pay for the time I waste.

One of the cleaner, better lit and better laid out branches. The staff are friendly and they generally have most of what I am looking for at reasonable prices. Their stock sometimes runs low, but I guess that happens in a lot of shops these days so no judgement from me.

Went there to buy some large bags of garden stones, was pleasantly surprised by helpfulness of the staff and politeness. A big improvement on my other visits there in the past. Manager was reluctant to lend out a trolley to carry out the bags as I live practically across the road but his reasons were understandable. Hopefully they maintain the standard. Update: Having carried out a few projects around the house and travelled to Wickes on a regular basis to buy bits and pieces (5 minute walk), product knowledge of staff in general is absolutely atrocious. They may point you in the right direction but they won't be able to answer any further questions. Pretty obvious Wickes are not interested in providing quality staff. Products are also pretty expensive, definitely worth popping down the road to Screwfix if possible where staff are very willing to assist and products are generally cheaper. They also employ a regular inexperienced security guard, seems like they picked him up from the Eastern European guys that hang around there in the morning looking for work. Quite happy to follow you around and make sure you knew he was there. Just a poor store full of local cheap employees.
