   I just wanted to share my appreciation for the excellent service I received, particularly from a gentleman named John. I had a few items my builder requested, but I wasn’t entirely sure about them. John was incredibly helpful—he quickly looked up each item and processed them at the till with efficiency and professionalism. Great customer service is rare these days, and John truly stood out.    I visited the store on Saturday 19th Oct. The 2 ladies on the service tills were brilliant in finding me the correct size and fittings for my broken door handles. They were polite, courteous and went the extra mile to ensure I got the right product. Best customer service i have received in many years and I've been working in it for over 50 years, well done!

   I just don't like screwfix. From the screwfix website not making it clear items aren't in stock to collect, to being made to input an order number into a terminal when collecting, even when staff may not be busy. I think we could easily live without the screwfix brand.

   Be prepared to face aggressive behaviour, if you ask any questions about what you are buying. If staff at Screwfix HIther Green can't be bothered to help customers with basic queries, why do they work in a place where answering questions is part of the job. Disgraceful and appalling costumer services.

   Polite and friendly staff, pre Covid experience was usually 4 or 5 stars. However, their Covid provision at this store is woefully slow in comparison to tool station on the same industrial unit. Slower than usual service is to be expected in the circumstances but the member of staff on the door was listening to music and constantly playing with their phone. Doesn't send the right message when you've got a line of people waiting.
