They never answer the phone & can never locate prescriptions your waiting forever or sent away saying they don’t have it for them to finally locate it
Boots in Middleton is my favourite. Staff are so warm and welcoming and Victoria, who is the pharmacist is just lovely . She is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything well . I don't go anywhere else .
Called in Saturday 26/7 to see if my prescription was ready and was asked my the young woman behind the counter if I could come back after 12 as they where waiting for stock to come in ,called back just after 12 and everything was ready , thankyou for your help
Appalling chemist, long term prescription (20+yrs) that has to be done on time, it's dangerous to miss days, since being transferred here just over a year ago I've had to chase every prescription, I am disabled and need delivery, but they don't tell me it's ready until too late for delivery so I end up 24hr plus without medication, on ringing they're rude and dismissive, I was mid sentence and was hung up on by a very rude girl, they are supposed to be in a caring industry! And don't spend money on taxis going there between12-1pm cause they shut, didn't say it anywhere in opening times, £10 taxi to find it shut, try to ring they ignore calls, I will be changing chemist due to being spoken to like an idiot and hanging up on calls I'm sure they're very good at selling junk of the shelves but don't expect a personal, caring service from this one!
Amazing staff very helpful and friendly ,the pharmacist Vicky is knowledgeable and always makes time for everyone .
Made an appointment for flu jab when arrived 10 mins before the shutters were closed saying with note on door to bang on shutters for help. Someone came to door and says sorry cannot let you in today as shutter is broken.and to make another appointment this is prior to getting 3 reminders before visit what a waste of time and travel
This pharmacy does not check thoroughly to find prescription orders. Twice now I have been sent away only to find they did actually have it. On one of these occasions it caused me to go without my daily medicine for a number of days before I managed to get emergency prescription during bank holiday closure - meaning I paid the usual for my prescription twice - once when I finally got it, and once for the emergency couple of days worth at another pharmacy through 111. It’s very frustrating to have to do all the legwork and admin for them just because they can’t look in the right drawer.
They close for an hour's lunch break but haven't updated the boots website or Google, just a note in the window so a wasted trip
Been to Boots pharmacy Middleton Circus for my flu jab the Pharmacist Vicky made me feel at ease as usual she was very helpful and friendly I amalways happy to deal with her
