Decent selection and pricing. They are the kind of business that will close early if it’s quiet however even after I called to confirm closing time and when arrived 45 min before, they were shut. Wasted 45 min round trip. Maybe I’ll stick to wickes from now on, more reliable.

Unhelpful and rude staff on the phone that obviously hate their job. Was going to use them for a large job but will take my business to a company that doesn't speak to people in a condescending and sarcastic manner. Didn't even manage to list off the materials I wanted before I cut the call off

Came here to buy some wood ' what i needed was not in stock ' so i asked for a some 6inch wide 6ft high planks to take away ' Only what i get is a large pile of odd lenghs and passed a hand saw ' after i mentioned i didnt work for howarth timber & my age ' they verbal mocked me in responce and gave a refund . So i then go up the road to wickies found wood cut to size & better price ' friendly helpful desk staff ' even got me more cut and sent a lad to help load my car ' went home ' sooo simple job done . I have many more thousands to spend on future supplies ' wickes win .
