Used PGR Romford for three jobs , first two job’s they were faultless . Third job , beyond a joke ,the worst service in over forty years in construction . Back to Travis Perkins for me .

They say Same Day Local Delivery on their website if ordered before 12pm which is completely misleading. On multiple occassions I've tried ordering way before that time on a weekday but always gives the next day as the only option (or after obviously). I even called at around 7am but they said sorry no can do only tomorrow. And I'm definitely Local as I'm only a 13 minute drive away in Rainham. Unless I'm misunderstanding what Same Day delivery means. Maybe my review is harsh but in my view misleading information on websites merits a bad review. Having said that the delivery driver was friendly and tried his best to drop the delivery where I needed it and I got what I ordered.
My builder was not able to arrange the collection. So I decided to contact directly PGR's customer service and they reacted quickly and collected the next day. Well response and quick action.

Really rude and aggressive delivery people. Asked if I could get my car out before they blocked the drive and they hurled abuse at us - thankfully i have it recorded and have sent it to 101. Explained we have a young baby and need to get to work and nursery and the language from the driver was appalling.

Amazing service from here. This place absolutely shows up the big stores in terms of getting a straight, quick answer and instant help and advice. It is a tad more expensive but delivery is the next day. I would prefer to pay the slight bit more for the ease and quality of this service and goods.
