    Outstanding!! I am writing to formally commend Navdeep Bhandal for the exceptional, continuous support he provided while helping me finalize my kitchen project. The completion of the kitchen became a very stressful period due to significant issues with my builder. However, Navdeep's assistance was invaluable. Despite the frequency of my calls and visits to the showroom, he was outstandingly patient, helpful, and supportive, consistently operating above and beyond his standard role, I am sure, and provided effective solutions for every challenge. During my multiple visits to the store, I also observed Navdeep extending the same high level of courtesy and problem-solving skills to other customers. He is truly a great asset to the Brentwood Wickes and Wickes team. I honestly believe I could not have successfully completed this project without his dedication and support. Finally, I also wish to acknowledge the broader Customer Services team, who were exemplary throughout the process.     I ordered 5 sheets of plasterboard and 3x2 meters of trunking. I received two sheets of plasterboard and three sheets of smashed plasterboard which was unusable. I also received 1x2 meters of trunking only the top part of another two meters and one completely missing. So essentially the only thing that was good was two sheets of plasterboard and one length of trunking. The guy from the Brentwood shop called and said they would redeliver but nothing come. No refund and just said β€œ the delivery driver would pay for it personally”. Still no refund and I actually feel sorry for the delivery driver I hope he didn’t have to pay because I didn’t get a refund. Proper bad service to be honest. Had to get it from another supplier in the end.

    Depends who you get on the till. Today she couldn't be bothered. Flowers outside are virtually dead and still being put out for sale makes me laugh. Have to use this store as it's most local for me but it's very hit and miss. Plus side.... sells diy stuff (limited) Down side.... don't expect help from all staff

    Having called around several other suppliers without success, I ordered and paid for a product online to click and collect from Wickes. Wickes in Brentwood indicated that they had the product in stock. I received an email and text message that my order was ready to be collected. HOWEVER, when I got there, the product was not actually in stock! The staff were friendly and apologetic, and I got a refund in store, but it seems to me Wickes needs to improve their stock taking system, and their click and collect service! Not impressed!

    Been here the one time and that experience being poor. I needed an urgent part and ofcourse with the lockdown guidelines ordered online, waiting (4 hours) to be informed collection ready, popped in to then wait over 45 mins to be served - more frustrating than that was to see people could just walk in store, shop as normal (social distancing in mind) and they came out faster than the whole click and collect situation. And ofcourse I received my part 5 mins before they closed to be handed a ratty tatty bag! I had a mind to go back if i wasnt concerned about the problem at home for which I needed the part. Doubt I would be going back here.

    Even during the Lockdown and the need to be 2m apart from fellow customers, the staff were professional and attentive. The Chaps working the carpark/ outdoor queuing system were very approachable and explained new procedures clearly. In the queue ahead of me was around 20 people and in total it took 25 minutes to get into the shop. Once inside the shop was pretty much empty, so it felt relaxing to shop in.
