Arrived at the old mill barn in TR20 at 7:30pm. The place stank and was really musty we have to spray air freshener to breathe. The stairs are 3 flights in the pictures just shows 1. The stairs are broken and dangerous for a toddler, when asked for stair gates if I wasn’t allowed to leave and be refunded they said “no you knew what you was doing bringing a toddler” my toddler fell down the stairs and injured himself at this point I asked if we could leave. He stated £220 for linen and cleaning fee, I said we haven’t even touched the linen and the place stinks and is dirty. He just said to leave and find somewhere else at 9.30pm at night and see what refund I get in the morning which I thought was disgusting. You can’t even wash here because the bath won’t even barely run and for £700 you want to be able to wash. All bathroom ceilings are covered in mould. The kitchen was filthy and hairs on the surfaces and shower rooms which I have pictures of. The wallpaper is peeling off from mould. You can’t contact the owner so there’s no emergency contact until 9am Monday so would have no clue how much of a refund we will receive or if we will receive at all. We all have sore throats are in after being in the house due to the mould. I would not recommend staying because the adverts don’t show everything and if you pull them up on it they try charge you a lot and will make you leave at 9.30pm at night. Hopefully get a call a 9am when open.

Would not recommend this company. Unhelpful staff and the insurance they recommend through there website at the point of booking is a joke. Unfortunately we had to cancel our holiday due my wife going into A&E the night before the holiday. Rang the following morning to cancel as soon as they opened so the holiday let could be informed we wouldnt be able to attend. Unhelpful on the phone and the insurance company are even worse. Avoid!

As an owner, this company seem to go out of their way to be difficult to deal with. I took over management of a cottage following the death of my mother. They were completely unsympathetic during the process of obtaining a Grant of Probate. Once Probate had been granted, they added yet further complication to the process of selling the cottage and transferring bookings to the new owner. They are completely unprofessional and I would advise anyone to avoid them if at all possible.

I have nothing but praise for this company. We booked a cottage as a present for our friend's wedding this week and we had a lovely e-mail exchange with Andrew. He bent over backwards to help us and we managed to get it all booked keeping it a surprise from the bride. Would definitely recommend to others. Thank you again Andrew!!

What a wonderful company. As a group of work colleagues we decided to arrange a honeymoon for our colleague. We managed to find out the accommodation that she wanted and the week. We then got in contact with Cornish Cottage Holidays and explained that we wanted to book the holiday but we didn’t want the Bride to find out. Well with Andrew Exelby help everything was booked and then transferred over to the Bride and Groom after the wedding. I cannot speak highly enough of this company and I hope to book my Cornish holiday with them next time.

From our first meeting with Tess from Cornish Cottage Holidays our impression was of a professional, informative helpful and charming consultant. Since then we have dealt with many others of the team and have always received the same standard of service. Our guests also have nothing but praise of the service that they have received. A great company!

Cornish Cottage holidays have been a godsend for our business, I was privileged to watch a photo shoot and when i saw the results I was amazed it was the same place. They have such a professional approach to the letting business and a natural flair to showcase our holiday homes, nothing is too much trouble. The guests arrive with full detailed information about the property - I cannot find anything negative to say. We are so pleased that we found them and would recommend them to anyone. Well done Cornish Cottage Holidays, we look forward to working with you for many years to come. Thank you.
