   I have stayed in Pier Cot for 6 days in October 2024. It was a lovely cottage with unbelievably wonderful view. The location is amazing, beach is very near, on a windy day I could hear the sound of waves all day, also lovely twitter of robins from the front garden. Some equipment was rather minimum so please ask Nick about it beforehand. I have brought my own hairdryer, some towels (there is no washing machine in the cottage) and toilet rolls. The cottage was charming and cozy, I really loved it! Warning : it's an old building and the staircase is narrow and no handrails. The owner Nick is friendly and nice. When I had an unfortunate shower trouble he tried to fix it as soon as he could. The view from the main bedroom window was just impressive.

   Mermaid's Tale is a dream. The studio is bright, beautiful and just perfect. The sea is just a few steps away and the view is fantastic. We had such a great time with Nick as a perfect host. A big thank you for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend Cove Cottages.

   We had such an amazing time at Mermaids Tale! The photos do not do this property justice, it is stunning and the views are spectacular. The hosts are so helpful and friendly, I can not recommend staying here enough. There are loads of amazing walks on your doorstep and the town is a short walk away too. Thank you so much!

   Magical place with stunning and breathtaking views!!!! Lots of hiking and suitable for surf etc. I think I will be returning to this place and rent a beautiful cottage house with a view. Wow!!!! :) :)

   Loved it here. Beautiful views in private seating areas. Private road and parking available on the narrow road. A short walk from two restaurants and the beach. Steep walk up from beach though. Noticed the satellite signals very iffy if in for the evening, not really a big problem for visiting.

   Really nice cottage with well appointed and high quality fittings and a stunning view. On a private road overlooking the cove, no problem parking, we're already working out dates for a return visit!.

   Fantastic views from the cliff top cottage. Charming quaint cottage with period features. Easy access to walking routes and heritage sites. Car parking is available. Good for dog owners. Look out for seals in the cove and the RNLI boathouse nearby.
