stayed a week with friends and it was such a lovely experience! the owners are lovely and were really helpful. it’s in a lovely location, only a 10 or so minute walk from a great beach. can’t recommend enough!

We only stayed here for one night during a cycle across Cornwall. The staff here were amazing! We arrived late after cycling from bodmin via the Eden Project. Despite us turning up after kitchen closing they were willing to not only make us some dinner but even cater to my super fussy requests ! The room was clean and in great condition with comfy bunk beds. Really happy with our brief stay!!
Real detachment from the hustle & bustle of 21st Century life. No TV but board games available. Amenities are sufficient (wifi/communial kitchen/dining room/power showers/toilets/garden) or for a reasonable fee there is a breakfast & dinner service. Staff are absolutely lovely and can guide you around the locale. The real winner is the location.....15 minutes walk to Hemmick beach (a secluded little cove), 15 minute drive to the Lost Gardens of Heligan, 30 minute drive to the Eden Project and bountiful coastal walks for the more adventurous to Gorran Haven, Porthlune, Falmouth.......truly a gem of a place!
Good quiet out of the way hostel, I slept there in 2018 when I went to visit the Eden Project. I drove to the hostel and used Google Maps to find it. Hostel has a reception area that doubles up as a restaurant for breakfast and a small self catering kitchen. Has a lounge to rest and relax in, there wasn't a TV and hostel didn't have free wifi on the night I slept, so I had to use my mobile phone to stay in touch.
I stayed four nights in this hostel with many other members of the walking group I belong to and found it to be very enjoyable. I had no trouble finding Boswinger & the hostel. During my stay, I was warm & comfortable, despite the bad weather we experienced.
