Booked both our Umrah trips with Dewsbury Travel, once going with their group and just recently going independently. We have had a lovely service from them both times, with smooth hotel check ins and transfers which all play a huge part in making Umrah stress free and so much more enjoyable. Alhamdulillah, my family and I went to umrah and we had the most amazing experience with Dewsbury travel. They looked after us with great care always asking after us. It was a very well organised and well planned trip and I would recommend Dewsbury travel to anyone.

Went to Dewsbury Travel to get a quote on a trip to East Africa. I was made to feel as though they are doing me a favour!
Two guys run the shop, one short one and one taller. I unfortunately had to deal with the taller one. his attitude stank for no reason, very rude and obnoxious. If this is the kind of service you get before you have even bought a ticket imagine what you would have to deal with in the event of any problems with the trip.
There are numerous different travel agents in Batley/Dewsbury so be wise and avoid this place.

TERRIBLE customer service.
I never ever write reviews but feel compelled having just left the office of Dewsbury Travel & Tours (incidentally in Batley rather than Dewsbury) a few minutes ago. I had to make a small payment transfer via Western Union and the service was just plainly appalling.
I first phoned to check if they were open to which I received a sarcastic reply: 'errrm, I think so'. In the 15 minutes I was there (a poor lady before me was going through the same treatment I am about to describe below) one of the guys was either laughing hysterically and joking in gujerati or screaming angrily down the end of the phone to a supplier/customer. The one I dealt with expressed himself with grunts and hand gestures (seriously, it was one step away from him either clapping or throwing a stick at me and shouting 'fetch') and throughout the whole process I felt as if I had inconvenienced them by turning up as a customer! If I had another choice, I would have definitely walked out and felt thankful I wasn't booking a holiday/tour with these guys. I would hate to call them in the event of a problem (clearly the one being yelled at over the phone by the other chap - who wore a pocket square - did have a disagreement of some form which within 30 seconds descended into a blown-out, high-pitch verbal onslaught).
The one I was dealing with made a spelling mistake with my name and then asked for some ID to amend my details to the correct spelling. When I questioned why any ID was not needed to enter the wrong name(!) but was needed to enter my correct details he seemed irritated and blamed the system. Look, bureaucracy and system limitations come in the way of everyone and I fully sympathise with that especially as they are probably using a third party system (Western Union) however during the whole time I was there I felt uncomfortable, unwelcome and frankly I have seen more professionalism at a Primary School play.
Vote with your feet guys - don't put up with this sort of nonsense!
Ps to the guys at the office - you might want to research what basic customer service is!
