   We had our wedding at The Old Courts last week and can’t speak highly enough of it. The whole process was made so much easier by having such a friendly and understanding team to deal with, and Michelle was amazing in making sure we had the perfect day. Right from the start she understood what we wanted and how to make it happen and make sure the venue and our theme matched perfectly. Every detail was attended to (right down to providing tissues!) but in a completely relaxed way that helped so much. On the day itself everyone was fantastic and helped make our special day so memorable not just for us but for everyone that attended. We couldn’t have asked or hoped for more, and can’t recommend the venue highly enough.

   Held my 40th Birthday Party at the old courts last week. Everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was. It has real atmosphere. Michelle the host was super attentive and helped me sort out a bar tab for first drinks and a cocktail for the night. It was all very laid back and easy to deal with them - no drama. I was particularly pleased when they cut the cake into pieces for me - not a job I was looking forward to. The whole team were fab, friendly and helpful. It is so cheap to hire too! I’d definitely recommend.

   Had a wonderful experience celebrating our daughter's 18 birthday party with extended family and friends at the Old Courts this weekend. Jo, Michelle and the team were all so obliging in helping us plan all the details in advance and make the event as special as we had hoped. Nothing was too much trouble. Guests kept commenting on how gorgeous the venue was and helpful and friendly the staff were. Especially enjoyed the additional quiet space of the judge's chambers and the lovely bar. Even the loos are nicely finished. Beautiful atmosphere- an unforgettable evening.

   We had our wedding party here after getting married abroad. We absolutely loved it! The venue is gorgeous, lovely high ceilings a traditional backdrop for any event. Michelle who runs the old courts is a very friendly and welcoming host. We will definitely be using this venue again for any future parties!

   Wigan is so lucky to have the old courts. I’ve been several times and also taken my young grandson to see children's shows. The entertainment is varied and caters for every age and interest. so look at the what’s on program. The building is unique and beautifully restored keeping many original features. Unfortunately access for the less mobile is not very good so check with the staff before booking.

   I love this place! Fantastic music venue. We watched The Stanley's in a room downstairs. The bar is nice and toilets modern and clean. Great value for money! Would definitely recommend!
