Visited in December 2025 to watch a Joy Division Tribute. The rear section has a stage area at the back right. Bit of a strange layout and can't accommodate many but it does create a great vibe and allow for the crowd and band to get close! good sound. Arrive early and make sure you get a good spot!

Always enjoyed this alternative/rock venue, it’s a rough and ready dive bar with good beer and open late. Went last night and it’s plastic cups and generic UK beer, no imported Lowenbrau or Veltins that used to be on. To top it off I got asked to leave mid pint due to wearing shorts! Boulevard is the last place in town I’d have expected to have a dress code especially with some of the weird and wonderful attire I’ve witnessed in there lol.

Went in there because my friend told me it was good In there and they did karaoke so thought it was worth a try. Only to get refused and asked to leave just because I was dancing abit. I have a bad leg and made it back up the stairs myself I wasn't drunk and I didn't appreciate the way I was treated. This is also not the first time I was treated this way. I got treated like this in the past just for requesting a song on karaoke Sorry but I won't be trying here again.

Performed here alongside my band, had an overall great experience other than the service, felt a little bit rushed and bossed about. The sound and kit is amazing, would definitely love to perform here again. Nice area for us to chill, aswell as places to leave our mark!

Great selection of R&B, Reggae, Ska, Old Skool, Blues, Rare/Underplayed music in the Cherry Pit run by Neil & Phil on a quarterly basis. Nice selection of draught pale/blonde ales. Bit cool but soon warmed up after a few dances..

It's a dive bar, which has rock music and filthy drinks. Always busy at the weekend when I've been in. Never seen any trouble in there. Has a pool table, but that seen better days. Has karaoke on and that has some surprisingly good singers along with the surprisingly bad, which is exactly what you want.

Brilliant eclectic bar with a diverse crowd where everyone is made to feel welcome. Great beer on tap, reasonable prices and a (very) late licence. Highlights include the fun quiz on a Thursday where cheating is impossible and anyone stands an equal chance of winning excellent prizes (£100 most weeks), a free monthly heavy metal night, Sunday open mic night and gigs every weekend. A truly great bar!!
