I bought a collection of sanding pads of various grades for my battery drill at good price. Just what I needed. Very impressed by range of power tools they sell.
I'm on machine Marts mailing list and spotted a clarkes tool cabinet on special offer that I liked the look of. I always park my car in the reserved customer parking behind the store and went to find the cabinet, which after a quick look at the area where all the tool cabinets are kept couldn't find the one on offer. A member of staff asked what I was looking for and informed me after checking his computer he had the exact one upstairs in a box. After 5 minutes he arrived with a large box on a trolley where he opened it up and I bought it , along with an air impact tool. I always keep a close eye on special offers when I get the new email as you never know when a bargain might just turn up.
Came in, and the staff were extremely helpful in finding the items I needed. They also assisted me with loading everything into my car. Thank you guys
100% top guys had to pick up something for work rang the shop to say I was caught in a bit of traffic and was literally just round the corner spoke to Chris and he said he will wait for me got there 3 minutes after closing. Big thanks to Baz n Chris top blokes.
Large store, but I hate being followed around by staff whilst browsing!
I met the manager in another branch they didn't have what I wanted He said his branch had 2 in stock ( Sidcup ) I said I would pop over in a couple of days, got to Sidcup to discover he had gone to the trouble of emailing his staff to let them know what I wanted, the price and more, very helpful staff and a ten out of ten manager (Paul). Thanks for making it a pleasant and outstanding visit
Dreadul customer service. The staff didnt seem to know much about the water pump I bought, yet when returning it 24hrs later, unused, Croydon store said "No returns" and Sidcup store were very reluctant to refund at all. Several excuses made then "I'll have to phone technical for this"... Their customer service is terribly lacking and their policies just make people want to shop elsewhere. They seem to be one of the few store left who's policy is "Anti-customer"... I did however get a refund, eventually, but it wasnt a nice experience.
Excellent, you can specific tools for cars and many others. Staff very helpful, I've broke a tool by using it with too much pressure (my mistake) and they were kind enough to change it, even it was my fault.
