   Brought a food item that was open and came back less than an hour later to ask for it to be exchanged the two workers who I talked too were extremely rude and disrespectful to me and declined me exchanging my item until I called the customer service number and the manager William answered almost immediately and apologised and told us to come back to exchange. Staff have horrible customer service but this store has a lovely manager

   Horrible customer service, refused to accept a damaged item return because it was open, but that's clearly the reason I'm returning it. With valid receipt on the same day. Their excuses included that my receipt was damaged. However, the barcode was still very clear with the date and time available. Very condescending staff over a 3 pound exchange Changed my review from one star to three stars because of the help from the manager William, one asian male and female gave extremely bad customer service. One was working. The self-checkouts one was behind The vape stand. Even when I told them that I called the manager, and that he had said that I could receive the exchange, they refused to call the manager William down, thankfully when I was on the phone with him earlier, I told him I was going to be returning soon, which I hope prompted his appearance without their inability, it seems like there are many complaints at this store for the customer service. I would not recommend coming here but William, the manager was very customer friendly and understanding.

   Only giving 1 star because I can’t give zero. All the tills with actual operators are blocked off so now self service are the only tills available; which I also add are card only.. if you happen to want to pay in cash you have to queue at a cigarette counter that looks like a bomb shelter. Staff are basically furniture; asked a worker where something was and he didn’t even look up from his phone to look me in the eye. He just waved his hand lazily in the general direction. Absolute dive; go somewhere/anywhere else.

   Woman behind the counter with an Eastern European didnt serve me cigarettes even when my girlfriend asked with her id in hand, but still sold her a scratch card?? She hasaccentll definitely needs further training.

   How ridiculous the set up is in here. 1 manned till. All self serve are cards only. Kiosk doesn't weigh fresh unpacked / open veg (onions). Staff standing around the self serve! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

   Only till open that accepts cash was the tobacco counter so had to queue for ages just to buy a couple of items. All the loose baking potatoes where green.

   DOUBLE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!! Absolutely ridiculous! Went in to get eggs and they mislabelled the price - then refused to give it to me at the price labelled even though they were at fault as they hadn’t removed an older promotion! Instead the price had hiked up higher than the original price at £2.30! Disgusting behaviour! I feel sorry for all those people not checking their bills before paying! Daylight robbery! Sickens me that these big companies are misleading and charging more to unknowing customers…

   I’ve used this Tesco very regularly over the last 20 years but only go there as a very last resort now… and only when there’s a security guard at the door. Neighbours I trust speak of regularly seeing blatant shoplifting by “druggie-looking” types, both male and female, but nothing seems to be done about them. Two weeks ago a member of the public shopping with his two little kids was even stabbed with a hypodermic needle when he tried to point out a thief to staff! If Tesco can’t sort out it’s security properly and protect its customers then they aren’t getting my custom!

   A mid size Tesco store plenty of space by metro standards) that includes a customer service desk. There are around a dozen self service points here. It was moderately busy on a mid Monday morning so given the central Uxbridge location expect it to be very busy at peak times.
