Update: more disgusting lazy incorrect stored stock left unsellable for consumption Health alerts ⚠️ check your everything with a tooth comb before buying getting wrose and wrose its embrassing and shameful of tesco. can't believe this store still 9years on hasn't cleared up its issues and still not made any changes. whoever's in control head of management of this store need sacking as their clearly accepting this store destroying tescos reputation. The Manger pari doesn't give a flying care he's a rude smug little man thats hardly thier and when he is his eyes are closed but his mouth runs smoke threw his ears when u care to make any complaints. The store has become so badly run down food is becoming inedible for selling to the public from badly storing to selling items days late after expiry with no care or changes made as I've complaint twice and they haven't botherd to change it as I been in an seen same items put back to sell and not removed. Trading standards and food agency need to be all over them. Even the security guard believes the shop is an embrassment and is being run down by the people working in here as they don't care besides what goes in thier banks. Urgent changes need placing
The card machines never work and don't accept contactless. It definitely is there machines as only happens in this store. It's been the same for months but the staff do nothing to fix it and look at you like it's your problem when the payment isnt working. Very rude in here.
I was in here earlier today at 2:15 pm with my brother and my mom after buying some grocery was packing my bag, out of nowhere this old aged security guard( I am told his name is Hameed) approaches me saying I came in yesterday and stole some chocolates and was adamant that it was me, I told him I don't even shop here, and was in the office yesterday. When I asked him to call the cops and show me the CCTV, he backed off and the staff there tried cooling of the situation. Tesco needs to review their security service partners at this store and especially their training. Completely rude staff non apologetic.
Trust the reviews. Don’t shop here. The staff are rude and demeaning for no reason. A lady antagonized me for I.D. for an energy drink knowing good and well I’m an adult in my 20s and I am a regular who comes in late/in school hours. She knew very well I was no where near 15, it was clearly a power play. The funny thing is, even when I showed her proof that I’m in my 20s, she then told me to make sure I have my I.D. next time (she spoke to me in a condescending manner, the way some would to a child). Then the next time I came in the store, this lady kept giving me weird looks. She would not take her eyes off me as she was stocking shelves. I really don’t understand the hostility. I have always been polite and courteous; I was also a regular who they’re familiar with, so I don’t get it. I really don’t. Definitely has to be one of the worst Tesco branches. I’ve observed that the security guard can be quite rude to customers too. I noticed he would always watch me intently, despite knowing I’m a regular and even having cash/or my debit card in hand. Some people just need to treat people poorly to feel a sense of worth. It’s pathetic.
More expensive than normal tescos. They don’t say that as you walk in.
Horrible experience! I will strongly advise the person who put up the voice and treated me in the rudest manner to wash the mouth before speaking - as a manager it’s very necessary to be respectful - you are a shame for the company and you don’t have nothing to do with customer service!!! I was shocked when I requested to speak with your manager and you answered me so proud that you are !!! Your attitude was silly …. make a shower, do some hospitality/customer services courses and wake up to reality!!!This Monaco attitude doesn’t suit you !!!
Very rude and abrupt staff. Uninterested in helping customers. Miserable staff. Store was well stocked but aisles can be a bit cramped when staff are filling up stock and almost blocking the whole aisle. I only wanted a cold drink and bought what I wanted and left. Wouldn’t return to this Tesco again. Cages left outside the store making the high street area look messy and untidy.
Opening time is 0600 and they are still close one person just came in now and said don’t have staff. Who is managing this store there are 6 peoples standing outside the store to getting in. No any notice on door either
Security guard was extremely rude to me- told me to re scan all my items at another checkout and accused me of not scanning items SOME OF WHICH I HAD MISTAKENLY SCANNED TWICE ACTUALLY. I asked him to come check my items against the screen to see for himself but he kept shouting muffled noise from under his mask and wandering off and coming back just to be rude. Many people in the store witnessed this and very clearly saw him being rude unnecessarily to me. If I wasn’t in such a hurry to be somewhere I would’ve hung around to complain there. I asked him multiple times to check my screen and what his problem was- he treated me like I had just stolen stuff which I hadn’t. Absolutely disgusted to say the least. I asked his name and he said it was Ned. I will be making a full complaint as believe people like “Ned” shouldn’t have a job in a customer facing role if they are that aggressive and rude to customers asking for help.
