Spent far too much time at the counter waiting for the βcustomer service β while she asked her co worker for some more head phones β¦ on and on waiting while she adjusted them then said again they didnβt work ! By this time I wanted to leave but she had started to process my goods. The store itself is ok depends what you want. Co-op across the road is more customer helpful.

I had a very unpleasant experience here today. After work, I came to the shop but forgot to bring my own bag. At the checkout, I noticed that the usual Β£0.30 bags were out of stock. There were only some thinner bags, which seemed to be for weighing veggies and didnβt have a barcode. I politely asked a staff member if I could use one of those bags, and she said yes. A little later, after speaking with her colleague, she brought a box of regular shopping bags and told me I had to buy one. Before I could even respond, she very rudely grabbed the bag out of my hand. Honestly, if I wanted to take advantage of the situation, I wouldnβt have bothered asking for permission in the first place. I felt disrespected and treated unfairly as a customer.

The shop is great you can get what you need and it's well stocked. The staff at the till are not exactly friendly but they are efficient. This is not my local sainsburys but I use it about once a week. Friday morning, the cashier was having a conversation over the earpiece not related to work, which was fine and not offensive, but a hello would have been nice. Not the first time I've not been acknowledged at the till in this particular store. Not a big issue. I'll keep coming in just thought it was worth a mention.

Fresh food shelves always bare. Its been over 2 weeks now with no milk can't believe its taking so long for a fridge repair shows how poorly this store run staff spend talking on their phones with WiFi head phones. The co op must be raking it in as your store can't supply essential goods.

This review is specifically for the staff working on the evening of 21 st august 2024 . You couldnβt be bothered to put the milk out in the cabinet so we are told to go to the door at the back of the shop , on opening the door and calling out to staff someone does appear and I am rudely told to β donβt open the door darling β so bloody condescending, this young woman who obviously needs to get some manners when talking to her elders and in the this case betters ( I am a highly trained professional) , also the shop front staff have a very off hand attitude, my second visit to this shop and my last , I am especially disgusted as I find staff in pretty much every Sainsbury Iβve shopped in to be very helpful and friendly. A bad bunch in shepperton it seems and one way to lose your customers. I will use the co op in future vastly better !

Never enough staff and the staff that are there are just plain rude. Always one person on the till with a long queue waiting.

Handy local shop with a useful amount of parking. A lot of self-service tills and about 3 manned tills, so short queues if any - good for the size of the shop. Edit June 2022 - after a shop revamp, the shop seems bigger, but the area with the tills is cramped and confusing. Hopefully it will be changed.

For several months there has been no blue heets available. Management and Sainsburyβs HQ made aware and not rectifying or actioning. Very frustrating in an otherwise good shop. Update 8/3-22 after 3 months this has been re-stocked not great customer service but nevertheless finally fixed. 2 stars

They have extended the store which is good, but they have moved the tills and made them much more congested and every time Iβve been in the queues are longer It was much better before with separate self scan and cigarette counter as people queued in separate places, now itβs a mess and confusing where to queue

Always disappointed by the range available here. When it was Budgens previously they had more shelving and a wider range of stock. It is the largest supermarket currently in Shepperton, yet frequently lacks items I seek. The alternative is the Co-op on the other side of the road, which has a much smaller footprint but, it often seems, a similar sized range.
