Argos review in Sainsbury's yet again I've gone to use Argos but the items I wanted aren't in Store so I have to go back in a few hours or travel to a different Store. I find Argos pointless.
Sainsbury’s has become a pain to shop in. The big one in Cobham used to be fine, but now, due to staffing reductions, paying at the queue has become rediculous. They are now almost exclusively self service and when you’re doing a weekly shop it makes it incredibly slow and then adding to that, they put as few checkout people on as possible so you end up waiting an age when the inevitable till system has a mare. The small sainsburys in Cobham high street has been like this for ages which means you are always at the till and need assistance and end up having to walk around the store trying to find somebody. They are obviously too focused on staffing costs as their key metric and forgetting about the customer. Waitrose in Cobham is so much better run and there’s always a load of people on the checkouts and staff in the shop able to help.
Was visiting th area and needed a few bits so popped in. The store was clean, well laid out and felt fresh. I have told a number of people how impressed I was....very different from my local store
Sainsbury’s is a large chain, but this store is truly special. The layout is logical and well thought out, making it easy to find everything you need. The presentation of products is excellent, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Shopping here is a pleasant experience every time
I like shopping at Sainsburys but this shop tries my patience despite being my nearest. They have ditched the fresh food counters and the patisserie and a lot of own brand stuff is nowhere to be found or tucked away where it is difficult to find. Staff generally have a couldn't care less attitude(with some exceptions among the older employees). They are often out of stock on items especially fresh ingredients. All a bit meh. Have also noticed a lot of recent positive reviews after the refit(frankly hardly worth the effort) have exactly the same wording - a bit of a red flag
Not very impressed with the new vacuum packed minced beef. Instead of the usual red colour, they just look like large slabs of discoloured meat. Not at all appealing to the eye and consequently I will not be buying my mince from Sainsburys any time soon ! !
I'm last night...there's a pick pocket in the store. He stand so close to me while my bag at my back. When I looked back he jump away and rush to the check out. I'm too scared to confront him and I'm in shock. I reported it it to the security, but I can't stay longer in the store. I'm not sure if someone with him outside. So be aware of this..please watch old and venerable people when shopping coz they are the easy target for this thiefs.
Shop here regularly. Have noticed recently trend. Staff grab food reductions ie first little price cut and smuggle them our the back. Then they wait until its 10p time and present themselves to their colleagues doing last minute reductions to get their items at 10p...then off to self check out to pay and get Staff discount. Watched one make off with eight packets of cakes..so greedy and sneaky too Watched
What can I say. Marie on the tills just saved my bacon. I was 3 pounds short and she paid it herself. What an absolute angel to at woman is. More humans on tills is what we need. Human interaction and compassion. Amazing. X
It is what it is, really friendly staff willing to help. Minimum on street parking for 2 cars and a loading bay. It has a free cash machine available out side. You can get home delivery from your major food delivery service online.
