The only problem is that there are no employees near the payment machines. I always have to look for them when the machine asks for authorization.
Bro the manager in this Tesco (old Indian looking guy with glass) he is soo rude He said he was the manager He’s definitely not qualified to become a manager Cmon Tesco do something better.
Extremely rude and unprofessional staff at this Tesco Express. The person claiming (Ramesh) to be the manager has no customer service skills or respect for customers. Terrible attitude and arragont - Tesco Esher High St should seriously review their staff and management here.
1st of August 2025 around 06:30 am. Very very rude staff this morning. It was a lady and she was very rude and unprofessional. She needs to be re-trained asap on how to speak with the customers or needs to change her job.
At approx 11.45 aI encountered a rude and condescending staff member working at the till. When I approached she asked me to wait which I did patiently after a few minutes she came over to serve me.she scanned my club card but the card machine kept prompting me for it still. she responded rudely saying I need to pay and it wasn’t her fault. I never implied it was , but it was not mine either. She then abruptly turned the till screen and slammed it into the window dividing the cashier from customer. Her attitude and behaviour was unnecessary rude and unprofessional.
Good and tidy shop and friendly staffs
That's the only time, that I comment or review the tesco express. This is very compact, generous opening time and friendly and welcoming staffs. Open 6am to 11pm and always have the essentials. Kind reminder this is tesco express and the possibility of not finding all the items you might need is high but Always have great offers and all essential needed when most groceries around are close after 8pm
I worked there, most of staff are Shri lankan and there’s an English guy called Freddie and a Russian manager. All the staff are lovely and when I left they gave me a bottle of Malibu and chocolates. The Russian lady and shrilankans and Freddie are lovely. I gave them all nicknames. Great offers on reduced food. Regular customers nice. Hated the job but friendly environment except for one of the managers who was unpleasant. I did like most of the staff who made the job bearable. Will definitely pop in when in the area.
This is not a reflection of the store but to Henry sharp Below, It is the law that they ask for ID If you dont have any they are legally entitled to refuse sale, So its not bad customer service its the staff doing their jobs
Can not fault this store at all ❤️I’m so pleased to have a local Tesco. From security guard to shop floor workers and till assistants… all fabulous! I visit here at least three times a week (handy being open till 11pm)and always a wonderful shopping trip. Very polite and every time helps to assist with your needs Thank you to all staff
