The male cashier was very rude. At the start, he told me to wait because he was serving another customer who was still walking around the store looking for items, which was fine, but the way he spoke to me was unnecessarily abrupt. We were later told we could use the self-checkout, which could have been communicated earlier. When I asked for a bag, he told me to scan it in a way that felt accusatory and implied I might take it without paying. Overall, the interaction was unpleasant. Additionally, this was one of the worst M&S stores I’ve visited as a vegan, with only one vegan item available in the entire store.
